The officer said the height was determined the best they could by the video and the fact her seat was moved forward,(which I think is because he got something out of the backseat). They also discussed the image in video which looks like a tree. I think they said "no tree", they didn't know what it was. hmmm

Why would he be carrying an envelope and if it is an envelope what is the significance of it?

He must have been carrying her car keys.

If he used a gun or knife for the abduction he would have those too most likely.

I really, really want to see the gym bag or the envelope in the surveillance photos of the suspect. I just don't see it and everyone else does. I feel very left out.

What are they smoking in Florida?

First of all, if you look at pictures of JK's car, it looks like JK's driver's seat is far from the steering wheel. AS is the passenger seat, which is extremely reclined. The front seat is even with the frame of the body of the car. That is NOT close to the steering wheel. What is going on?

Second, I think it is the POI's right arm in front. Don't forget, the camera is at an angle.

Also, the third image is definitely a "palm tree". You can even see that the leaves move between the two frames.

I certainly hope LE didn't use the position of the seat to determine height.

Remember, I've always thought the LE had a pre-conceived notion that the POI was short, and that the investigators went out there to show just how short. Proving this theory, is why they brough a short female officer as a "body double" for the POI. IMO

The more I hear about this case, and the facts, the more I am convinced this is a very average case that has had some mistakes.

Once I learned that OPD released that video in error, didn't seal JK's condo, didn't do roadblocks, withheld a video for one year, I started losing hope.

Sorry, I am not against LE, I just think this case should have been solved by now.

In fact I'm struggling to see his arm. Some people say the arm is forward and some say it is back.
I just see an out of focus person.

Look at the right arm, the back arm, in the hand, you should be able to see the outline of an envelope in the hand of the POI.

I have cable internet, but I don't think that really matters. Could it be the photo software on my computer. :waitasec:

I just cannot see the envelope. In the original photo, I see the right arm swinging back with the fist clenched. Remember, I said that was how the military were thought to hold their hands. In this photo, the sign on the fence is obstructing anything that can be seen, isn't it? I see the arm very clearly. Then, the hand/fist is not clear on the new photo. Oh well...

I like the darkened photo because you can see more detail. I showed this to hubby and we both must be blind because we just don't see an envelope. I guess we would need the envelope outlined in another color. Are we looking in the wrong place? I see the right arm closest to the camera swinging back with a clenched fist. The left leg is back and the right arm is swinging back. Am I looking at the photo wrong?

NO, in the right arm which is clinched. You can see the outline of an evelope. It is about the size of a padded envelope you might buy at a store. You are looking at the right spot, maybe, it depends on the computer, software, picture software, I don't know.

but, BB is the one who darkened it. You can't see it, unless you use the darkened photo that bb has a link to. IT has a "se" in the addrss.

ps there is even a "light bordering " around the ends of the envelope.

They smoke lots of funny stuff in Fl.
I have no idea what he's carrying, but the gymbag was something on the news. I don't see it, theres something, but i don't no, the envelope or whatever, is just shaped like a fedx overnite envelope or whatever company she used.
I have convinced myself the shoes white at the ankles, I have convinced myself there is writting on the shirt, and the haircut is a regular one and he is wearing a hat resembling a captains hat. I am also convinced his reflection is on the car. Not clear enuf though. Last year I walked around my car at noon to see what type of reflections i saw, there were lots of them.
The earlier question abt the splashes on the car, I do wonder abt that, its a large splash. I'll see if I can find the negative of the car, it shows lots of smudges.

Ok, BB, thanks for that change of settings! I cropped out POI and blew it up and posted to my website. Image is large, takes 4 minutes for dialup, of course cable and DSL no problem.

That is clearly hair pulled up in a bun. I also don't quite believe the shoes. They are like a clown's shoes on her. I am thinking that is deliberate for some reason, to be wearing a man's shoes while doing this, to throw off investigator's?

Same with hair tied up in bun, to look like a man?

Ps you convinced me he is carrying some type of envelope in his hand.

However, with the hat, there may be bleed over, so, it's hard to say, but, it could be a stocking cap.

I hate to keep harping, but Chef's carry their own knives. It looks like it could be a 'knife roll'. When you unroll it, it has pockets which you can slip in all of your knives and then roll them all up together...it has a long tie which goes around the outside. It would be about that size and length plus resemble an envelope from a distance. It would also mean he is either a student or a lower Chef. Professionals use more of the briefcase type.

If it is a bistro apron he is wearing, he could have used that to wipe down the car and then put it on. Or I am wrong and that IS a rag hanging out of his pocket...same thing tho.

BB~ I do like the enhanced photos you did. It doesn't look like a gym bag to me..the bulk isn't there. His right arm is extended behind him a bit and you cannot see the other arm. (Normal for a person walking)

That ten seconds could be when he stopped to grab his stuff and ditch the bag. Makes me wonder what ELSE was in the bag. (I didn't see any dumpsters around the parking area...did you?)

What is with these security cameras at the Huntington On The Green Condominiums? The photos of the suspect are so out of focus that all of us are straining our eyes and coming to different conclusions of what we are seeing.
Bad, bad, bad photos from bad security cameras. Just imagine if the Huntington On The Green Condominiums had decent security cameras then this crime could have possibly been solved a long time ago. What a shame.

Why have a security camera, when you can't make out anything.

Makes me wonder if HOTG just put in the camera's around the pool in order to save money on property insurance.

Plus, why are the camera's so dark, when it is suppose to be noon?

After seeing the photos from BB, I'm not convinced it is a woman. I'm more open to the possibility, but, I still think it could be a 'stocking cap", or simply bleeding from a poor camera, or simply reflection.



To summarize: If I was LE, I would conclude the following:

We know a man or woman, dropped Jk's car off at about noon on the 24th, and that the person is still unknown. WE believe, 99.9% chance the person is not JK.

How do you know it isn't a man who just has long hair, that is in a bun?

I hope LE has some black hair on the headrest of JK's car. that could be the thing that solves this case. DNA from hair, just could be a key, not to mention prints backing it up.
