SS:

Good thinking: The smart one's, don't keep any physical items.

Most aren't. Unless the POI threw away the IPOD, the IPOD could he huge.

If he kept it, the IPOD can be physical evidence.

EVen if he sold it to someone, you can still trace it through whoever bought it.

Even if that IPOD went through more than one set of hands, it can be traced. Nobody is going to want the heat of a missing woman, and the consequences on their butt.

Let's just assume I"m right. Theoretically. His left hand could very well have the throwaway items, stuff that is worthless. I think the duffel bag rumor, just may be true.

So, let's assume the IPOD is in the right hand. I know many don't trust my eyes, or my theory. But, this is clearly away from the item in his left hand. Why wouldn't the item in his right hand, be put in the bag, or whatever he is carrying in his left? One answer, is because the items in his left hand are garbage, and right hand, is stuff to keep.

We still don't know what was found in that dumpster. It could easily be Jk's bag, the car keys, or anything.

It could also be unrelated.

If you look at the POI photo's, without being enhanced, there is a distinct darker color between the POI's legs, and behind him to the left. So, I kinda like the duffel bag theory. Many crooks, like BTK, carry a bag with them, for obvious reasons.

One thing I am stumped about. Drew said that valuables were left behind.

Exactly what does this mean? He must be talking about something that was in the car, since Drew doesn't believe the condo had anything to do with this crime.

What was left behind, in the car. I don't buy the stereo wasn't lifted. To me, it sounds like something mobile.

Who knows, maybe Drew was talking about the car stereo.

I, know, if we had all the facts, we could break this case.

think about it, we have 10 people, thinking about this case, and only this case. Cops have other cases, families, and they need to leave work, at work. We don't.

I just hope this IPOD is followed through. IF LE is right, and there is physical evidence is evidence in the car, maybe, this POI is luckier, than wise.

Just think of all the leads, ideas, this group has come up with. RD, UK, UCF, DRum, Enrique, SS, SHVA, Myst., have all come up with ideas.

On the other hand, LE has what, one, maybe two people thinking about this case?

Isn't the reason they keep trophies more to do with the obsession and not intelligence tho? So they can keep reliving their crimes?

Why would he keep the car keys? He dropped the car so why would he take the keys if he were so smart? It would directly connect him to her car and the crime. It wouldn't make a personal "trophy" either.

I keep asking and haven't gotten an answer...WHERE is the dumpster located? I haven't seen one in the photos. Maybe RD noticed.

I think the numbers are much lower with only 1 detective still looking into this case, Left, and how much attention it is pulling from the 1 is questionable. Don't forget they an ongoing high profile case now and they consider this to be "cold".

As far as "valuables" left behind, it was a strange statement from Drew. Hard to tell what he was referring to...could have been the stereo. Only Drew can clarify that tho.

I wish Logan, Rob, or someone close to the family would take the time to answer our questions honestly and openly here...so we can all find Jenn. They could take an active role in helping find her this way instead of just waiting on a police force who are at a standstill. The time for passing out fliers, playing cards, and billboards is over and the time for them to actively pursue this case without LE is here. They need to DO something to investigate on their own and we could certainly give them great ideas to research. (Like finding the Postman and talking to him!) The Kesses need to understand they have to eventually take over the investigation for all intensive purposes.

I hate to criticize the family but turning down EquaSearch makes NO sense and was a very poor decision. Maybe the police turned it down and not the Kesse's? If so, they don't need the police's approval to ask Equa for help or accept help from them.

Why turn down a professional, non-profit organization that truly cares about the cause? There isn't a single good reason anyone can give.

  • #524
I don't know that Equusearch will come in without the blessing of LE tho.

  • #525
oh okay that makes sense. However shame on the cops for turning them down. they just don't want Equa finding her cause they'd perceive it as making them look bad.

The dumpster is just ahead of the POI on the left side of the drive as he walks past the gate. I would say it's only about 30 to 50 feet on down from the car seen in the POI photos.

He was on the right side of the drive and had not started angling across to the dumpster as of the palm tree. He could have cut across more directly after that.

My feeling is that with the car left there, dumpsters would obviously be searched. If he were going to throw away stuff, I would think he'd do it somewhere else.

But could be a reason he walked around the pool instead of down the sidewalk between the buildings to Americana.

My thought was that the items of size, briefcase and purse would be visible in the video released recently if he were carrying them. But I wouldn't doubt he would throw the car keys in there, for example, if they were not found.

FINALLY! Thanks, RD! It was driving me crazy! So whatever he had in his hands...he could have ditched after the photos were taken.

I believe you are EXACTLY right as to why they did not want Equusearch there to help!! They claimed not to "need" it as if they had everything under control with their couple of people on horseback and a dog. It is almost laughable if it weren't such a mistake on their part.

lol yeah they don't need any help. they're doing just fine as is even though nobody has heard from or seen this young woman for about a year and a half and nobody has been arrested in relation to her abduction.

How's that search going for the suspect who's 5'3"-5'5"? *snicker*

Turn the case file over to websleuths. Let's go down to Orlando. We'll stay at DisneyWorld. UK can fly in. Me and leftcoast will carpool, SeriouslySearching is in too. Myserty as well. rd can drive down from Jaxonville.

Case Closed in 60 days tops.

  • #530
I am ready!

60 days?! Give us the case file and we have can it done in less than 30 days...as long as we can call in Equusearch!

  • #531
Information I have read suggests there are 6000 unsolved homicides in the US each year.

So, since Jennifer's abduction there are an estimated 9000 unsolved murders.
In other words there are 9000 cold cases.

I don't know whether Jennifer's case is a homicide or a missing person.
IMHO she is a missing endangered adult so make of that what you will.

Lack of manpower I would suggest is the reason the cold case numbers are so high.

Enrique thanks for the invite!!!

Still not visited the US but I am planning a trip at some point in the next couple of years(will just have to convince my G/F to forget the tourist stuff and concentrate on the case!!! Although hopefully solved by then!!)

Regarding the condo I think its excellent that SS did a trial however very difficult to compare there are so many variables such as the size of the room, how much light was getting into the room etc.

I think the only valid test would have to be with JKs shower although SS please dont take this as criticism anything we can try is good.

Another piece of information I would dearly like to know is which condos were vacant on the day Jennifer vanished?

Undoubtedly this information will be readily available from Mosaic.

What was the nearest condo to Jennifers that was vacant?

RD is convinced the suspect has a taser strapped to them so possibly they let themselves in and restrain Jennifer with the taser and then move her and her belongings to the nearest condo.

If theres one nearby then who's going to see especially if they wait until after 9am when most people are out at work?

I would like to find out where the nearest vacant condo was and was it ever searched???

Yes, I would like the answer to that, too. I thought it was a good possibility early on when they mentioned her complex was relatively vacant. Don't forget those little "closets" outside or garages either. The closets are large enough for a person to be hidden. The Kesse's should be priviledged to this information. They should certainly ask specifically for those records. No, I do not believe LE searched ANY apts. at the time...since they didn't even search Jenn's. What they did was "knock on doors".

No worries, UK. I would love to see the Kesses go back and try the shower experiment for themselves in Jenn's shower. Besides, they can judge how the shower looked in comparison. I think they could remember enough to determine a rough estimate on that. Even if they find the time frame it takes to dry the entire thing...it is still going to be in the ballpark to tell us if it is possible for it to be dry in 4 hours or less.

Do they still have Jenn's condo? After all this time, they may have sold it. I know they didn't want to keep the car around as a reminder and the condo would be a huge expense. (Then our only other option would be for someone to pose as a buyer and go in...run the shower and come back to look again in four hours!)

If they do still have Jenn's condo, I would also like them to get the detective to go back and scour that apt. as if things had just happened. Since there could be trace evidence left of DNA or fingerprints...they could at least match those to the supposed evidence they found in the car. They would have an answer to whether something DID happen in the apt or not. One of the problems with the case is they never actually found the crime scene to put a theory together.

This abt the shower is very puzzling. My husband took a shower at 7 am this morning, its now 12 45. There are still droplets on the wall. The temp is 89 degrees and the window is open. We are an hour and half south of Orlando.

  • #535
BB~ Maybe you could try it again with the window closed as I don't think Jenn had a window in her bathroom plus they stated her windows were locked. : ) Thanks for trying it tho!!! Great!!! It will give us some perspective on this in Fl!

  • #536
I am not trying anything, now its after 1 and its still wet. Did her condo have a dehumidifier in it? And was the heat on? The high I think was 75 that morning she went missing.

  • #537
Hmmmm...good question. Do they come standard in most places? If not, I would say no. She was on a budget and affording her new place, a car, etc. on a beginning salary even with a promotion. Her furniture looked like she was pretty frugal.

  • #538
Florida is a very damp place, all year round. Most yankees can't stand how damp it is so the dhum gets installed.

  • #539
Ah, OK. Maybe it was built in already then. Wouldn't that make the shower dry a lot faster?

I have to head to work, but look at their ads for sale maybe it will mention it.

I think it would dry faster, as would the heat if it was on, which I would bet on. High of 75 usually means 60 overnight or lower.
