In a sworn complaint, Gainesville police charged Justice Maryie McKay, 22, with sexual battery.

According to the boy’s mother, McKay went missing with her five children after she learned law enforcement had been contacted, the report said.

McKay was arrested Wednesday. She has already filed a written plea of not guilty.

Her bond is set at $75,000, though the legal firm representing her was trying to get it lowered.

McKay was in the Alachua County Jail Wednesday morning. Her attorney could not be reached immediately.

A sworn complaint says the woman raped the boy at her birthday party.

A Lake Butler woman accused of raping a 14-year-old boy — at least once with her husband and children in the same room — was arrested Wednesday.

During the sexual battery, police say McKay left “hickies” and scratch marks on his body. The marks were photographed.

Would WT* be an appropriate response to this story? Because that’s pretty much all I got.

I cannot believe her first name is “Justice”. I clicked on this thread thinking a judge was the accused.

I am very much wanting to believe the accuser here, but am trying to keep an open mind. It seems it could be a relatively simple way to hurt someone. I would like to know the relationship between these 2 families. The story says the accused was staying with the boy’s family, and I wonder what that was about. The fact that the accused ran off is certainly suspicious and adds credibility to this report of a horrible crime.
