I work with women who come in to the hospital as 'confidential' with a password necessary to enter a locked unit. They often call the father of the baby within hours and give them the password and all is forgiven. It's crazy and all we can do is pray for their babies. So I can't always blame the men. One woman had a hard time deciding between the baby's father and her infant. (The father was deemed dangerous). She ultimately chose the father. DCF placed the infant with a family member they both had access to.
Also, in Florida the mom can decide whether to give her infant her surname or the infant's father. He has to show a license to verify ID and sign that he is the father. On one hand, it's easier to file for child support. Conversely, he then has rights.
Another nauseating fact; I've had women instruct me should the significant other ask to inform them that we do not do paternity testing.
There are two sides to every story and I've seen enough to know that it takes two to tango. It's very rare to find someone who's made an honest mistake or been snookered by some guy and then decides to leave the idiot for good. I know it happens. I can only tell you what I've sadly observed.

Thank you for your post. I was thinking along the same lines. The last name ties the baby to the daddy.

If LL is involved don't u all think Ebron would throw her under the bus?
It wasn't me it was her scenario.

Aren't they still in love with each other? Thought i read that somewhere?

Would a disposable diaper even flush down a toilet, wouldn't it be too bulky?

I don't really think u can flush diapers down the toilet.

but I wouldn't put it past him answering as to why there were no dirty diapers in the apt.

I agree, it is crazy, but women often go back to their abusers, unfortunately.

Temporary Restraining order filed..
12/10/2014
Makes one wonder why month later you would still name your child after him? Think it would go to show hes very manipulative with women and can get his way with women? Any input?

Edited to question why is these childrens names not private? Three of her children no names private. Florida dont protect minors or what? Gawd I live here in Jacksonville so that frightens me o.O and to say I guess restraining orders mean nothing to some people i seen a picture of him holding the baby in the hospital which would mean restraining order meant nothing and was violated anyways.

This guy is a piece of work as well as a piece of something else. Listen JUDGES, stop letting these people out on the street. You had a mountain of reasons to keep him in jail and Lonzie would be safe at home if you had ! Stop letting violent criminals OUT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Ebron's mother has claimed that they are still in love with each other. In my opinion, that apple didn't fall too far from the tree. I'm about to put Ebron's momma in the same bucket as her son. Don't believe a word of it.

I agree something needs to be done!
Heck they put an ankle bracelet on Martha Stewart but they let this crapola free to wander aimlessly into our lives. jmo

Another thing I noticed on CORE and Ebron's neglect charges was that the charges/statutes changed on 7/30/15. If you look at the case and the line titled "Information" the document image had him charged with child neglect S827.03 (1) (e) and S827.03 (2) (b), 2 counts. Felony 2. They were changed to S827.03 (1) (e) and S827.03 (2) (d), 2 counts, a Felony 3.

Here's a link to the statutes if anyone wants to figure out the differences in charges and or sentencing if convicted. (will try later today if no one else does)

All any woman has to do concerning a potential boyfriend, especially if she has very young kids is get on the internet and check him to see if he has a record or not. A smart woman would do that for the sake of her babies. You would also not introduce a boyfriend into your children's lives for a while until you see how the relationship goes. Get a babysitter you can trust if you need a boyfriend in your life. When are these women going to learn not to sacrifice the lives of their children for their own needs, your babies come first, always! Wish they would teach this stuff in high school. Its 100% avoidable IMO.

Am I reading this right??? The charges appear to have stepped down from "...causes great bodily harm" to "without causing great bodily harm".

This gives me a thought. I was very surprised when on Sunday they still said that they had possession of the apartment. Why would the legal authority still need possession of the apartment after so long? Could they be trying to go into the piping to find evidence of things that were flushed? That's the only reason I can think of now.

I agree. Also, he diaper info is just speculation right? I'm thinking that he flushed "them" (being drugs) down the drain or toilet. And Hackney stated in the 8 minute TV interview that more and more results are coming in from labs that are completing a picture of what happened that day. JMO

In the interview with the chief, he did say that LL did get to go visit Ebron.

I think what Hackney was saying was they could still have access to the apartment any time they needed to, and the roommate was very cooperative with that and that is exactly what they need in this case. Something to that affect is what i understood anyway.

Yes he did verify LL went to visit him.

I guess she doesn't want to believe she has 2 sons that are murderers.

This is partly why I believe also she is covering something up. Jax sheriffs can say all they want that shes cooperating. I am not buying it. I understand she isnt a "suspect" yet so no one should mudsling at her. However knowing what we know about what "Ebron" did to little Lonzie, what mother will still show support for him and love him? UNLESS she is covering up something. Maybe in the end we are all being played as fools, maybe she did something and hes getting blamed and covering up. Who knows.. time will tell.

Edited to say.. that is IF Ebrons mother is telling the truth about this.

And that's the thing - it's heresay. Considering the other information she's given, it's none too credible imho.

After listening to the chief's interview, it sounds like he believes Lonzie is dead. And he basically stated the little 5 year old daughter described horrible things that are what bring him to believe this.

He also did not say LL was not involved. He said "she better not be", which leads me to believe the reason no one is charged yet is because LE is still building that part of the case.

JMO

I wonder if this is a "Southern thing", because I grew up in the South around mostly Southerners, and we've used this phrase ever since I can remember in the sense that "I don't expect what you are saying to be true, and if I find out that it is true that So-and-So did such-and-such, I will be A) Very, very surprised and disappointed in So-and-So, and B) going to give So-and-So a piece of my mind for duping me (to put it kindly)."

I guess what I'm trying to say is Hackney doesn't suspect her of any involvement in the crime, but if she has, she's duped him and in big trouble with him, personally (not just the law).

Right. The person committing the crime is who needs fingers pointed at.

What is the crime? It has yet to be proven. LE think they have a strong case for murder and disappearing a child against RE, but he is still innocent until proven guilty. Has he even been charged with murder yet? So far child neglect from what i can ascertain.
I'm sure he has something to do with it, but not sure yet exactly what. They are still investigating.
