No kidding, can't get any more light than 1700 photos and surveillance cameras giving a play-by-play of his every move. He is videotaped at every scene, at the garbage, witnessed moving her to the trunk and spotted where she was recovered. Hansel and Gretel couldn't have left a better trail. It's a little late to be worried about his actions coming to light. I hope he is publicly humiliated, and it consumes him all of the days he rots in prison.

Deputies have released hours of new interviews, dozens of photos, and chilling audio from jail calls related to the investigations into the death of Madeline Soto.

Among the files are hours of police interviews, including one with Maddie’s mother, Jennifer Soto.


The referenced interview with JS isn't anything not heard before where JS says she doesn't doubt the "images" but doesn't think they are related to this [murder] case. The Investigator replies above -- telling JS the date of the photos in evidence. The linked video is a snippet-- very short.

I think one thing that bothers me most about her failure to engage with reality is this: the reason she shielded, possibly lied, or at least obfuscated so much about that day seems to be that she didn't believe he would commit murder over the SA because those (SA) crimes were not a big enough deal to do something like that about it.

Just blows my mind. And makes me doubly sure she knew about the long-term SA to some degree.

I'm not finding much new there. And there are no new docs posted on the court site since 2/26 for the murder case. Here's a snippet from the video that I don't recall hearing JS say.

She doesn't believe the CSAM pics of her DAUGHTER, with SS's freckled penis in them, are related to her death!??!? And, they MIGHT BE real??? MIGHT? She saw them! Is it her daughter and her BF's penis or not?? (I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around that).

OK, so, let's say they aren't related to her murder. Does that make it better in her mind? And he was caught on video moving her dead body, and throwing out her backpack AND DRIVING around with her dead body. I might add... after she sent them upstairs to sleep together... so, he just killed her for reasons unrelated to being SAed, or DURING being SAed.

I'm just not understanding why it matters if they are related to the murder or not. *smh at the woman*

I wonder if JS was still believing the picture at the church was Maddie and that she didn't make it on the walk from the church to the school? If she really thought Maddie had been abducted, she might be thinking that the SA was not related, maybe?

You're a lot more optimistic than I am about her truthfulness. She flat out lied about huge amounts of what happened in that house in the last day of Madeline's life. She and SS had their stories in synch about things that provably didn't happen. That isn't confusion or wanting to believe him.

No one is asking you to believe them, no one needs to prove anything to you, and no one is trying to convince you what's real. Get this part straight though, what is real, is that your creepy boyfriend was raping your daughter for years. Let's not minimize by talking about " pictures." No amount of reducing your words will soften what he did to her. Call it what it was... Rape.
Lastly, if you don't believe it could be related, after all the evidence you've been shown, then I wonder how many other things you overlooked in the last 5 years. Desperate for companionship. and what/who you sacrificed to get your own needs met.
PS. Yes, when you look at the images, you will see her face. Likely sedated while enduring such horrific abuse. Look closely so you can see what you neglected for years and how that neglect destroyed your daughter.

I'm having writer's remorse. So sorry if I sound harsh, but the fact that she talks about the pictures, "the images might be real, or they happened."
just irks me. How she downplays it, avoiding the reality of it.
Its not about the images!!!! its about the assault.
I'd understand if it was a mom grieving and in denial, but with Jenn, in context with other comments she has made, sounded more protective of Stephan, not shocked about Maddi.
1 My biggest fear is that I end up in a Woody Alan situation and when she found out , her first comment was that she was betrayed, nothing about Maddi.
2, Told CS to get Stephan a lawyer stat
3 She believes that just because he SA'd her doesn't mean he murdered her. She believes they could be separate incidents, barely acknowledging that she had been assaulted for 5+ years
4 a lot of other questions that sound like she looking to see what evidence they have, ( when she asked the cop to see something that would help her possibly identify where he may have gone , even tho she says she doesn't believe he murdered her. it's a bit contradictory.
and that she let him use her car when she ( allegedly) doesn't usually let him drive it, and that was so he could drive around looking for her at 3 am... as if. Where did they think they would find her? Please, It's not even logical. So she knew better, "yeah Stephan you go look for my daughter while I catch up on some sleep" . I'd be embarrassed even to admit that.
I know that Wikipedia is probably not a credible source; its just a short version and says what I want to say. so FWIW... just sayin.

No emotions or general remorseful reactions over what she saw with her own eyes that happened to her daughter and yet still defensive of the monster SS that perpetrated it.

It makes me physically sick and I feel so sad and angry that Madeline had to live the life she did from the age of 8 years old.

One of the things that's always bothered me with their many lies is when SS 1st arrived. Both have said different days and times, Saturday Sunday, pm am. I can't think why they needed to lie about this because all versionsbut him in the house the night/day she died. As anyone got a theory on this?
