Jackson testifying he was asleep and heard a tap on his window. Opened window and Toledo was at window motioning for Jackson to come outside. Toledo was dressed in black--shirt, sweatpants and boots. Toledo asked Jackson to drive his car. Jackson testifying he did not take his phone because he thought he'd be right back.
Jackson testifying when he went next door he waited for Toledo in the driveway and leaned against the Saturn (Toledo's car) and did not notice whether or not the hood was warm. Garage door was open and Yesenia's car trunk was open.
Jackson drove Toledo's car, following Toledo, got on I-4 toward Sanford. They ended up in a Publix parking lot. As Jackson pulled in behind Toledo, he saw Toledo wiping down Yesenia's car with a rag and a spray (Mean Green).
Toledo went to the trunk of the car and got some things, a bag (like a grocery bag) and car mats. Jackson states he was freaking out at that point and just trying to think of a way to get home. They were in the parking lot about 10 minutes. Toledo got in car, telling Jackson to scoot over and put the items in the back seat of the car.
They drove toward home, then turned off toward an apartment complex. Jackson testifying Toledo acted frantic, looking back and forth. Toledo didn't say much but said he "snapped". Jackson didn't ask what he meant, he figured something else happened and just wanted to get home.
Toledo put the items he'd placed in the back seat into the dumpster at the apt complex.
