They did look at the circumstances, the evidence, the testimony, the lack of evidence, the conflicting evidence. The State just didn't make a strong enough case...sorry.

A jack hammer wouldn't have helped JA, but maybe if he had not taken such a condescending tone towards the defense witnesses, not smirked and made faces throughout the trial, and not objected so often it appeared the State was trying to suppress information....well, maybe the jury may not have been so turned off by him?

So it is a biased jury after all, and here I thought they were going by the evidence.

I think since hearing from some of the jurors it's easy to figure out their verdict. Who needs a thread when they explained it themselves :furious:

I watched the threads since the verdict and am so confused by what I see...:waitasec:.

This case has had hearing after hearing, a huge amount of depositions, article after article and many many pieces of the evidence sleuthed ( note the name of the site is websleuths) and many of us have been here for at least of couple of years.

The debates raged on an on, always civil, always extensive as each piece of evidence was dissected.

We all watched the trial, we all heard the verdict. The final verdict - ICA was acquitted. Some members felt she was guilty of the very worst charges, some believed the least charge, and some maintained their steadfast belief that they were unconvinced.

What I don't understand is so many new members here to argue the evidence now? Why now? Is it because posters were not comfortable posting on this site before the acquittal? It seems so pointless to me. It's over - over!

The initial reason we were here was to find justice for Caylee. Caylee did not receive justice. And never will.

Posters invested time and emotional energy for three years, and yes, remain extremely disappointed there will be no justice for Caylee. But it's over.

I don't understand arguing the evidence now, instead of at the latest, during the Frye hearings. It's just :waitasec::waitasec: :banghead: What's the point?

4. They believe themselves above the law which for them are formalities to bend or break
5. Grandiose sense of self-worth - they over value themselves and their needs and devalue the needs or worth of others.
6. They are pathological liars; lying even when they don't have to and doing so with great facility
7. Cunning/manipulative - extremely versatile from a very early age
8. Lack of guilt - a key feature of psychopathy. While others are being destroyed physically or emotionally, they don't feel a thing
9. Emotionally shallow - their emotions are lacking or blunted, or at times inappropriate
10. Callous/lack of empathy - don't really care about the feeling of others only themselves
11. Failure to accept responsibility for own actions - always someone else's fault never their own.
12. High need for stimulation/proneness to boredom - they would rather play than work which is routine and boring
13. Parasitic lifestyle - would rather let others work - better to leech money off of other than earn money
14. Poor behavioral control - irresponsible behavior is a large factor as is putting others in danger

I think what I bolded has alot to do with it. You were here during the trial threads, you saw what would happen if anyone would give even a slight disagreement to what the state was doing or if someone agreed with the DT. You'd see 20 posters jump on that one post. Some seem to get highly offended by a different opinion when it's just that, a different opinion.

That's all this thread is, offering different opinions. Just like that praise the jury thread, it's just a different opinion but yet it seems some have an issue with that.

Also (not that you said this specifically), but there are people that seem to think if you haven't been here since day one that somehow your opinion isn't valid. I think that's wrong as well. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out if you think the jury got it right or not.

What's even worse is if you agree with the verdict and have been here for 3 yrs, not missed a minutes of every court appearance, read every document, some assume you must be new and didn't watch the trial or read and watched everything else. LOL. ITA, if you post an alternative theory and agree with the verdict, your post is pounded upon and insults are thrown.

Casey was already in jail before they found the body. The State would have still determined this a homocide and there would still be trial, just based on how the body was found. So sitting in jail wasn't Caseys choice.

I'm not sure what you mean by this.....i was responding to another poster's comments that Casey chose to stay in jail as it was better than being at her parents' home.

I have, at times, been very critical of the forensic evidence in this case. I don't feel like I've been overly criticized, although I don't know how many ignore lists I've made And honestly, I'm not sure if I agree with the verdict or not. What I do know is that KC is not innocent. I just don't know what she is guilty of.

I agree the article is interesting, but lumping together Hitler, Ted Bundy and Casey Anthony strikes me as overly glib. We've expanded the definitions of sociopath and psychopath to the point where they include everybody (and therefore specify nobody).

Don't get me wrong: I think KC has problems and I feel sure she caused the death of her child. But I think it's premature at best to compare her to someone who stalked and killed dozens of women all over the U.S. and someone else who was responsible for the deaths of tens of millions.

I never believe Casey was a sociopath/psychopath. She may have some similarities, but I never thought she was that far gone.
