Caution Ranty:

Just like pictures of a flight recorder , I think they old the world a pic of this " explosive" device if they find one in Germany staqdium

Any intleigence pwople here - what exactly is the differance between concrete intel and porous intel

I vote the stadium is fine

this is hystera and CYA- and you know what is sad about all this, more often than not, we find out later , that a lot of these folks were on watch lists, known to be bad boys girls (Boston Marathon, 9-11, we are learning now these guys last Friday NOTHING happens to these folks that are suppossed to be dealing with this

In private sector- a security eentity messes up , they lose the contract fired simple

and yes I am in a mood ! as I am sure all of you are...................

sounds awful--but they all need to calm down (intel people) cause in their own way they are totally increasing the liklihood of copy cats , hey nothing in in the German stadium , hey why not get the whiles house to evacuate,

oh look , then lets do the pentagon, NOW they need to be very careful, IMO, they are giving copy cats a thrill , and a motivation , to make threats that are totally nothing , it (they will not impact us) when I heard about the German stadium , my heart raced again, casue it feels so much about "powerlessness"

but alese intel folks worldwide, need to IMO, shift view from CMA to determing if people might be killed

We cann all tell now just by having CNN orsomething that calls themselves a news agency -- the german stadium if fine, they are not coveriing it ..........

At a press conference in Hanover, German interior minister Thomas de Maizière said that the decision to call off the match had been made after “an increase in tip-offs in the early evening”, but refused to comment further on the source and extent of the threat, writes my colleague Philip Oltermann.

According to German news agency DPA, the information about a planned Islamist attack had come from a foreign intelligence service.

There are unconfirmed reports that an ambulance filled with explosives was discovered outside the stadium.
nature of suspicious packages at stadium and at train station -no details
no arrests made

I am glad to hear this, however, I would like Jindal to further investigate those who are here. My husband is presently working in the tallest building in NOLA near the Superdome, and obviously, 13 people--if not truly refugees-- can cause horrific things to happen. I stay happily across the lake 99% of the time but used to live in NOLA proper for many years. We already have obscene levels of violence in our city, let's pray that those who have taken refuge here are seeking peace.

Hell, I used to be a bartender at Pat O'Briens and I refuse to even go to Bourbon and most of the quarter now. I have kids now sso it's not like we go out much but that's already been taken from us thanks to our own Louisiana-grown "terrorists". [I consider them to be terrorists as they've murdered people on Bourbon Street, shot people at Mardi Gras parades, but that situation needs to be tackled at another time.

If there are only 14 in the state, I hope that they were properly vetted. If not, I pray our government is wise enough to be closely monitoring these people.

Bookboarder, there is really no way for officials to properly vet or monitor them. We had 59 refugees relocated to GA before the Governor halted it yesterday. Combined with the lack of transparency by the FBI and other government officials due to political correctness, imo, we may never know the truth of the magnitude of ISIS and other jihadists terrorist cells within the US. We do know that there is over 900+ ISIS related terrorist investigations by the FBI in all 50 US states. This speaks volumes, imo..

<BBM for Focus>
Although Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez; The Chattanooga Shooter, was not a refugee, his parents were refugees from Kuwait..
While sleuthing the Holly Bobo case, I ran across an interesting article about a suspicious person and gunfight with a security guard at the Watts Bar Nuclear facility in TN. This facility was located very near the practice route in the rented mustang by MYA on the two days prior to the Chattanooga Marine shootings. This was not a coincidence, imo..

FBI investigating shooting incident at Tennessee nuclear power plant

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout...-tennessee-nuclear-power-plant-185128019.html

The episode began when a security officer on patrol outside Watts Bar plant noticed an individual standing on the bank of the Tennessee River on plant property. Hopson said the officer challenged the individual, believed to be a white male wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
The individual pulled a handgun and took at least two shots at the officer, Hopson said. The security guard returned fire and called for backup. The gunman got into a flat-bottomed boat and escaped downstream. The exchange occurred in less than a minute, Hopson said.
Hopson declined to identify the security officer.

FBI: Motive in Chattanooga shooting may never be released

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The public may never know what motivated a 24-year-old Chattanooga man to kill four Marines and a sailor in an attack on Chattanooga's U.S. Naval and Marine Reserve Center last July.

Hope After Tragedy

Investigators have said Abdulazeez was a “homegrown violent extremist” but have not offered details about what motivated the attack that began at a military recruiting center and ended when Abdulazeez was shot to death by police who followed him to the reserve center. The young Muslim came to the U.S. as an immigrant from Kuwait with is parents at the age of 6, attended U.S. schools, obtained an engineering degree and became a naturalized citizen before his family said he became more religious and took the lives of four U.S. Marines and a sailor.

"We're still trying to make sure we understand Abdulazeez, his motivations and associations, in a really good way," FBI Director James Comey told reporters during a visit to Nashville's FBI field office on Friday.

Comey said he understands the public interest in the shooting, but he did not know whether there would ever be a public report on it.

"Sometimes the way we investigate requires us to keep information secret. That's a good thing. We don't want to smear people," he said.

Everything that ISIS hates

Regarding refugees.
I'm really worried that governments are actually building no go zones and ghettos in their rush to appear to be politically correct.
I have serious doubts that our Canadian government recognizes that we have a culture worth saving and which is already under attack by religious zealots.

Grim-looking German police in Hannover tonight
Soccer match between Germany and Holland has been cancelled due to Islamist threats.

The chief of police of Hanover Volker Kluwe, has stated there is "concrete danger for the whole of Hanover." This is reported by the public broadcaster NDR Tuesday. "There's been tangible evidence that someone in the stadium wanted to detonate an explosive device," according to Kluwe.

Explosives were found in an ambulance near the stadium.

BBM

Another stadium in the city, which was to host a pop concert, was evacuated as well.

an hour and a half before kickoff on Tuesday that the stadium would be evacuated.

cnbc advised people to go home in a calm manner, and that there was no danger to fear.

So...............................leave.......................but no danger?????????????

There were also indications that French authorities as far back as August had uncovered information that Isis was contemplating an attack on a concert hall.

A French jihadi who was captured by authorities on returning from Syria in August told them he had met there with Abdelhamid Abaaoud, a 27-year-old Belgian, whom he said had instructed him to target a concert venue.

Mr Abaaoud has subsequently been linked to aborted attacks on France’s Thalys high-speed train and a church earlier this year. He was also previously involved in a robbery in Brussels with one of the Abdeslam brothers. “He is a man who has grown in importance [within Isis],” a French intelligence official said.

As the security services continued their work, there was a sense of panic and preparation around France for the possibility of further assaults. In a particularly dramatic step, the government has authorised the distribution of an antidote for nerve gas.

A written decree published on Sunday approved the use of atropine sulphate solution from France’s military stockpile “considering the risk of terrorist attacks” and noting that the country would soon be welcoming 120 heads of state for the Paris climate summit in the first two weeks in December.

Yes, as I suspected, terrorists will soon try a chem or bio attack. Just 3 weeks ago I went to an anesthesia conference, and we spent about 2 hours on chem attacks (as the anesthesia dept is the place within hospitals that has the most nerve agent antidotes.) We spent a lot of time looking at the sarin attack in the Japanese subway system-- what happened, what went right, what went wrong, who lived and why, and who died and why. I had pretty extensive training while in the military on nerve agents, as well. I was serving in Japan when the sarin attack happened, but my base did not participate. The Tokyo hospitals handled the situation.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tokyo_subway_sarin_attack

Sadly, the long and short is if an attack comes, a lot of the exposed will die. I won't go into all the science and pharmacology, but we simply don't have ENOUGH of the antidote agents to treat a large number of patients exposed, at high rates of dosage for days at a time. And not nearly enough ventilators and ICU beds. (Sorry to be a Debbie Downer.)

But anyway, here is an article from about 3 hours ago on the atropine distribution.

http://www.ibtimes.com/paris-terror...istribute-nerve-gas-antidote-military-2188319

Paris Terrorist Threat: French Government To Distribute Nerve Gas Antidote From Military Stockpile

The French government has authorized hospitals and medical centers to distribute an antidote to deadly nerve gas in the wake of terrorist attacks on Friday that left at least 129 dead in Paris, the Globe and Mail reported. A decree published in the French Official Gazette two days after the attacks determined that the antidote, in the form of atropine sulfate injections made by the military’s central pharmacy, should be released in case a “potentially large numbers of victims” become exposed to the poison gas.

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news...te-in-wake-of-terror-attacks/article27291534/

What they gloss over in those articles is that the autoinjectors are intended as first aid only, and will not cure or "reverse" a substantial exposure. Only decontamination and sustained ICU care, will save those severely exposed. And you don't just haul exposed patients into an ER-- they have to be decontaminated first, or the ER staff is exposed. A nerve agent attack in a major city is a huge, enormous problem that is not easily managed. And NO ONE is preparing or practicing for this in the developed world. Terrorists know this.

Here's some more info-- but it's easily googled. Search organophophate poisoning, or sarin, or nerve gas.

....but your grandfather's countrymen were not involved in decapitaions, suicide bombings and terror.

And again, I am torn. As a human and humanitarian I feel that we must help. We must be compassionate. The question is, how do we do this without putting ourselves in harm's way? IMO

The point is they were. Mussolini was an ally of he who shall not be named in Germany and, so, all Italians and Germans (and later, the Japanese) were looked upon as collaborators with those regimes. Ditto when the connections were made with the Mafioso.

I am also torn but there are no guarantees in life at any time and harm from many sources is just around the corner. In fact, we are more likely to be killed or injured by someone we know or are in a relationship with. Have a look at the crime statistics in the country where you live and see how many violent and fatal acts are perpetrated in those circumstances versus people killed in your country by so called 'terrorists'. It may change your perspective.

🤬🤬🤬 cant confirm any of this .............we now go live to where the official officals official source is to learn more about , by now, we ahvent a clue who is aoffical, was never official, suffered with Schzonphrenia but belived he was official according to an officeal

bunch of silliness

I have serious doubts that our Canadian government recognizes that we have a culture worth saving and which is already under attack by religious zealots.

Interesting you would bring that up. I just read this today:

Canada’s imaginary Muslims

the average figure given by Canadians when asked for Muslims’ share of the general population is 20 per cent, according to a survey conducted last autumn by Ipsos Reid (with a margin of error of 3.5 per cent, 19 times out of 20). This imagined figure exceeds the actual one — 3.2 per cent — sixfold.

“People who hold mythical ideas of Muslims in the West — including the one which holds that they’re expanding at an exponential pace and are poised to become a majority — (are not) necessarily racists or bigots or xenophobes,” says Doug Saunders, author of The Myth of the Muslim Tide. Instead, they are “often ordinary Canadians confused by the newcomers around them” and easily swayed by media narratives of a “large and fast-growing population that is not loyal to the countries it inhabits or refuses to integrate.”

[snip]

The gap between actual Muslim Canadians and those who exist only in the public imagination is over 5.5 million people — roughly equal the population of Toronto. Fears of Islam’s demographic triumph are greatly exaggerated.

How to explain the Paris attacks to children

My unsolicited advice is; don't, unless they ask and then keep it age appropriate. Shield them as much as you can from the 24 hour news cycle and videos etc online. Many kids of today already worry about the future of our world and feel as if we are handing them a poisoned chalice. They have enough pressure with school and fitting in with their peer group. Let them be kids and tell them you are the adult and this situation needs an adult solution. It is not for them to concern themselves with, other than to follow their usual personal safety routine.

So let me get this straight, they weren't even that religious?

Sounds like gang members.Like I said about Brussels being a young male muslim crime wave.I just saw on CNN that one of the men that blew themselves up owned a bar in Moelenbeek and was shut down for drugs 8 days before attack.

Back to Paris, and police sources have told Agence France-Presse that a ninth attacker was involved in the Paris attacks

So it's beginning to sound like those Turkish/Iraqi surveillance sources warned - a large team responsible.
