I found an article in a local publication that I found interesting (written buy a guy with a a talk/radio show in Augusta). I don't think I can link to it here (since it's not main stream media?) but he notes that "Christmas may arrive before crime lab results are in hand." The publication is Metro Spirit, and the quoted line is the name of the article if you are interested in googling/reading it. While this is written about the delay of results in Andrya's case, I imagine it applies all across the nation. Many cases are not solved in a timely manner because of lab backlogs. It's just really sad in this case and many others.
