OMG...catching the early WSB news, and they just interviewed that whacko rabid friend of AS who has been all over the local media the past few weeks espousing "her" evaluation of the validity of charges, evidentiary issues, abuse of poor AS by the system, etc....Steffi??? Anyway, she was on a tirade that there is "no way this jury can be fair" - the basis of her allegations?? Jurors taking notes during Prosecution examinations of witnesses, but putting pencils down and not taking notes while Defense attorney is up!! The kicker that had her in a full lather is her report of the jury openly LAUGHING at AS Mom's testimony/impeachment of her suddenly sharp memory of things - YIPPEE!! Sounds like a jury headed in the right direction and ultimately convicting AS to me.

As an aside, I now view the earlier jury request for the replay of portions of Mom's "testimony" may have been prompted by a holdout or 2. Fascinating that as of 9 minutes ago, there has been no further request for this following the DVD player being refused for the jury room this morning.

Enjoy!

That's what I thought, especially after someone posted a tweet that all the jurors seemed upbeat, save for one that had her head in her hand was sighing, shaking her head, and rolling her eyes.

Did the jury laugh? I listened to the video of moms testimony that Carolina Moon posted and didn't hear it. OMG, nothing like doing damage control ahead of time. TIA

Beyond the fact that she told three peeps, and texted another that Rusty was shot before she should have known, there is another reason I believe she knew what Hemy was going to do.
I have mulled this over and over in my mind. Preschool started at 9AM, right? So I'm guessing Rusty was there about 8:50, and if all went well he should have been back home shortly after 9.
Andrea was notified at 9:30 that she needed to come to the preschool ASAP, but that her son was fine. Since her her husband was the one last at the preschool, and the last one to see their son, and in her mind, he should have been at home by then..............how could she POSSIBLY have not phoned her husband?
I can think of many emergencies that could happen at a preschool other than thinking out of the blue, my husband is shot and dying.
Beyond not calling Rusty, I can't imagine phoning my parents, my BROTHER, many friends, ect., for something that may not even involve my family and husband.. And I can't imagine my brother, (if I had one) taking off work and rushing to the preschool for something that COULD be many possibilities, beyond Rusty being injured. And even IF she thought Rusty may have been injured, how did she know someone didn't run over his foot, or someone rear endded him, or a miriad of other possibilities?
My parents may come, if they were near and both retired, but more than likely, I would just keep them posted. The brother taking off work really bothers me.
It makes me think that not only Andrea knew more than she told, but possibly her family, as well.
What do you guys think?

PS She told her mom that something had happened to Rusty, even though the preschool didn't mention Rusty at all.

I completely agree with everything you said JJ. There is NO WAY I would have called my entire family even IF the daycare had told me there'd been an accident regarding my husband, much less since AS didn't even know it had anything to do with Rusty. That's an excellent point that Rusty should have been home by 9:30, and that he shouldn't have even been at the daycare at 9:30. All she had to do was call....hmm....

It really, really, bothers me that the Sneiderman's son had been with Rusty BOTH times Hemy tried [laying next to the house] to kill Rusty, and then the day he did kill him. Did the daughter go to the same daycare? If so, why wouldn't have AS taken both kids there at the same time? Regardless, HN could have killed Rusty once he got back to the house after daycare. Since I 100% believe Andrea Sneiderman KNEW of the murder plot, why, WHY wouldn't she at least insist HN stay away from her children? It's just unfathomable to me. :twocents:

The judge said he'd give 18 minutes notice. Maybe it's another question? Or hung jury?

Either verdict or questions.

I protest the fact that the defendant is wearing pink, MY favorite color.

Wow, yucking it up @ the defense table... pretty relaxed considering she's staring down the barrel of a 13-count conviction.

I wish I could El Kabong her in the face. :stormingmad:
