I agree. Mr. D was pretty mobile.

Why did he/she/they take his head??
Why? Why? Why?

Mr. Dermond appeared in pretty good health in this video and more spritely than I imagined. I suspect he could be fiesty and I can't help but think he'd put up a heck of a fight.

I keep watching this video and the 1 thing that gets my attention every time is " brad thinks his father is trying to get him to see something in his dreams" dreams are powerful sometimes and if we only knew exactly what he was trying to get his son to see it could be very helpful

I found it interesting that Mr. D. kept his sunglasses on the entire time he was in the store. They may be prescription eyeglasses and he
needs them to see. I hate talking to people inside when they are wearing sunglasses and I'm not.

Aren't there some prescription glasses that change according to the light?

  • #1,585
Answering my own question,
There are transition lenses that automatically change to protect against harmful blue light indoors and out.

Now, I wonder if I did right in changing out my bulbs in my house to LED blue ones instead of the yellow ones. They were so much brighter and looked natural.

Transitions Lenses | Photochromic Glasses | Adaptive Lens Technology

1 thing mentioned is the Dermonds owned 19 Hardy's that's a lot of money. figure each Hardy's profits 200k and that's minimum times that by 19 that's almost 4 million per year . this family had a lot of money my guess is at least 20 million plus his pension from the job he retired from, plus investments, plus his house, plus insurance x2 . A conservative estimated net worth of 20 million would be my guess. Now the family probably took over the business after RD retired but he was probably being paid a consultant fee . Could it be that the kids running the business which possibly was failing brought up some arguments? I wonder how many restaurants they currently own.

From the podcast. They make a great point in saying nothing stolen and nothing broken seems like the intention was to kill them. I think this was the sole purpose and rage was behind it.

Has SS searched the lake from the Dermonds house to where Mrs D was found? my bet is the head was tossed out near where Mrs D was dumped in the lake

My husband has these but they are light when you get inside.

My thoughts about the killer taking Mr. D’s Head- the bullet was unusual so it would be easier to narrow the suspect pool/identify the murderer.
What other reason??

4 + years.
Ugh.

I just posted a new AJC article by Christian Boone about the Marc Dimos murder by Chad Haufler on the WS thread.
Oh, this one’s a doozy.
Haufler doesn't remember bearing Dimos with a _________.

A must read!!

Money is a motivator for murder, unfortunately.

IMHO

sometimes dreams aren't dreams but nightmares, maybe he's being haunted with thoughts and nightmares are the aftermath

Hey tarheel, both my babies are tarheels, btw, well.... born there, GA now but somebody explain to me about bullets
what would be an unusal bullet? I know hockey mentioned military or LE but I don't know how bullets can be so different that it would solve the case

but I do know if they have one they can narrow it down to the type of gun of course
