Hi! Do you know where the gate referred to in the blog post below is located or why the poster is concerned with it being open?

I do know where that public boat landing is within Reynolds Plantation. To get access to the landing, one must go through the Reynolds security gate near the Ritz Carlton and purchase a $5 pass--a Georgia Power requirement. When GA Power was granted permission to build the lake, they were required to provide a certain number of recreation areas and public lake access.

The "gate" is not open but the boat landing is "open" to the public. It wasn't inside Reynolds originally but became incorporated when Reynolds purchased nearby property.
