Nope, nope, nope -- like tomkat said, it's MINE! :pillowfight2:

From way back in the first thread:

Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community - View Single Post - Found Deceased GA - Shirley Dermond (Abduction), 87, Putnam County, 2 - 4 May 2014

Of course, my theory wasn't real well developed yet -- LOL. But the germ was there...

Actually, I did think about it and mention it, but it has never been really high on my list of theories. Back when I HAD a list ... because it seems my theories are kind of evaporating as time goes by.

I want this case to be solved. Gotta wait...? That's OK. Just let it get solved, please....

oK, glad you are ok, was getting concerned :scared:when you weren't posting on occasion anyway, congrats on the new book!! I want a free copy from you and Bootsctr ! :floorlaugh:

Wow. This post led me to do a little research into this group. They have some bizarre beliefs and apparently have many followers still, even though their "leader" is in prison now. What stuck out to me is he was indicted on May 2, 2002. I wonder if there are any civic-type groups in the area (or even individuals) that had an important role in the prosecution of this man.

WOOOWW ! creepier !

Guess, we may know now, not only why the GBI was left out of the loupe, and why Sheriff Howard Sills is taking this case so personal. But also why there is over 40 FBI Special Agents, 7 Sheriffs Departments, and the FBI BAU involved in the Dermond abduction/murder/decapitation investigation. Not the norm...JMO
Guess, Homeland Security and the US Marshals are keeping a low profile, huh?

HMMM, interesting thought..........

And not only did Sills NOT contact the GBI, maybe BECAUSE THE FBI was so helpful in the Nuwabian case, he KNEW HE HAD to contact the FBI and ONLY THE FBI, from past experience in THAT case................

not necessarily becauase GBI wasn't helpful in the Nuwabian case but because they aren't knowlegeable of it since they were't involved in case

Are the Georgia Guidestones in Elberton, near Putnam county? I thought since the nuwaubian cult was being discussed, we might as well throw in some new world order :cow: . I honestly don't think there is a connection to the guidestones, ok? With talk of cults, Mafia, drug cartels and the like, might as well add the NWO nutsies.
:pillowfight2:

I think an hour away or such

WHO THE HECK KNOWS anymore !!

SOMETHING sinsister is going on !!

On an early thread, I asked whether the sons murderer in prison was associated with anyone in this cult.

I just realized, one of the surviving sons mentioned "cult".

YES! I mentioned that too, I kept asking WHY did he mention cult, leading the investigation but that was REALLY WEIRD to me

so now makes me wonder if sills is onto it and had mentioned it to son

NOW THEY would find a way to get his number to make weird phone calls too

I was originally thinking a small cult when thinking on this and WHY they'd call him

makes sense now but WHO knows!?

For what?

They can sure TRY, as many would I think

tho i dont' blame the security, no one can prevent EVERYTHING, or else we'd ALL LIVE FOREVER with NO problems

I have read he was arrested on May 8, 2002, but haven't seen anything about May 2nd yet. Wow, they seriously hate Sills and the FBI. Lots of fliers at the link below:

Then every person that has a security camera and their homes were broken into could sue em.

Their home was not Broken into.
Cant keep out visitors, workers, family etc,

We don't know if someone close to them did this or someone that lives there.

The home is on water its not a fortress!
anyone can come and go it just keeps local traffic out.

Its more for PRIVACY.

Trying to think outside the box, too - but I can't make myself lean toward a really dedicated plan at work here. I can't help but think that someone really, really didn't like Mr. D. It was a fisherman who lived there, knows his way around the lake and the restaurants, and would probably fit right in. He didn't want to kill Mrs. D but had no way around it. Maybe he did take the head thinking it would tell about the weapon, but I kind of think he wanted to bury Mrs. D and in the water was the best he could do. If it turns out to be planned, a murder-for-hire, or something that diabolical, I will be surprised.

I went back and listened to Sills' interview with Vinnie and he seems to have backed off about the murderer arriving and leaving by boat.

He says he believes the boat was one aspect of it because the murderer had to have a boat to dispose of Shirley's body in Lake Oconee.

http://www.hlntv.com/video/2014/05/23/dermond-murder-mystery-beheading-georgia-lake-oconee

I don't think this has anything to do with York and his cult. That would make a great fictional movie though.:D

I believe just as Sills believes this was a very personal crime against Shirley and Russ, themselves. Not a retaliation against Sills or the Dermonds children but directly personal against the victims who were murdered.

However; I did find it rather interesting that he is not saying a boat was used to gain access to the property.

I have always felt there was no need for them to arrive by boat or vehicle because whomever this is .........is right there in GW, imo, and didn't have to come in and out of the gate entrance whatsoever. Imo, the only transportation used/needed was the boat when he disposed of Shirley's body out in the lake and the only transportation he used to get him back to his own residence close by the Dermonds.

I think Sills is narrowing down his list of possible suspects and imo, it is showing him the murderer is a hometown murderer living right there in his own community.

JMO of course

SNIPPED:

York stated... “We moved to Eatonton Georgia because we are the Yamassee, a branch of the Washitaw Moors, The Mound Builders. Our Ancestors built the Rock Eagle Mound and many others in such states as Wisconsin, Ohio, South Carolina, Louisiana, and Tennessee. This is why we chose Eatonton to live. It is close to Rock Eagle Mound.”

"Thousands of Unarmed Moabite Moorish / Muurish / Maurish Women were slaughtered at and around the Great Lakes of North Al Moroc/North America. Literally thousands of Moorish / Muurish / Maurish Women were beheaded at Niagara Falls." https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/hueylegacy/conversations/topics/3883

If someone had cut my father's head off the first one I would think of that may have been done it would be some kind of cult who is known to decapitate and dismember their victims to be used as sacrifices.

I sure don't think he was referencing the York cult since as far as I am aware they didn't commit murders did they? They seem to be the typical old kind of cult that creates blind followers so they can rape and molest their children by using mind control over their followers.

York reminds me of that creep Warren Jeffs and I think he was nothing more than a cult leader too, imo.

I don't really think the Dermond children have one inkling who could have done this and were just searching for answers like everyone else has done trying to find something to explain why their father's head was decapitated.

IMO

Could RD or SD have been a Juror? What about MD? Could there have been some interaction while he was alive?

Trial moved to Brunswick, GA because of pretrial publicity. Sorry if this has already been mentioned, I am still catching up on overnight posts.

The grand jury was in Putnam, IIRC.

not necessarily becauase GBI wasn't helpful in the Nuwabian case but because they aren't knowlegeable of it since they were't involved in case

Its obvious to me why he didn't contact the GBI in this case. He had asked for their assistance in another big high profile case and they didn't respond. I imagine knowing how Sills is ........he thinks the GBI can kiss his royal butt and knows he can work and solve cases without their help.

I don't think it has one thing to do with the Cult case except when he asked for the GBIs help on that one they didn't help him so why ask for their help now?

I really think the FBI is just as capable as the GBI is and maybe more so in profiling and many state cases ask the assistance of the FBI and used their lab to get forensic results back.

I have never heard of a case where murders were done on two totally innocent people to retaliate against a Sheriff who had put them in prison. If that was the case then millions of Sheriffs would have retaliation hits since millions are put in prison for life.

Imo, that isn't even thinking out of the box. That is thinking on another planet altogether imo.:floorlaugh: York was sent to prison many many years ago. Why now over a decade later?

IMO
