The GBI says the terror attacks that have happened in France over the past few days are not a foreign concept to counter-terror authorities here at home.
Today, GBI Director Vernon Keenan told Channel 2s Mark Winne there are active terror investigations right here in Georgia.
Sure, there are. This week, three men from Rome GA were arrested for domestic terrorism. They're part of a militia group.

But I can't imagine that this has anything to do with the Dermonds. Moreover, if there was a terror connection, someone would have claimed responsibility for the crime, as that's the way terror groups send a message.
And for what it's worth, terror investigations are primarily conducted by the FBI (see the linked article regarding this). They're federal crimes, outside of the mandate of the GBI.
