Respectfully, that seems to be the same local source that said "I don't do drugs".

There is nothing, nada, zilch that shows Ron Cummings was doing drugs when he answered that question.

His last arrest was when? 2004 He got his custody of his children in 12-05.

He was arrested in 2010 for drug trafficking.

IMHO Ron C knows Haleigh isn't missing and was never abducted or murdered by anyone...and so does his family..
And IMHO we would have an entirely different case IF the truth had been told on day one as to to what really happened to Haleigh instead of a cover up being put into place to cover his rear...JMO

Time will tell what RC knew about Haleigh's disappearance, but for now all we have is the information that has been given to us, and part of that information is that he he did report for work on February 9, 2009 and it would have been near impossible for him to to leave during his shift.

I can't find a drug related arrest in the PC dockets after 2004, am I missing something elsewhere?

Whether or not he was doing drugs on that day, I don't know, but I do know he was under the influence of something the day he got that tattoo of Haleigh on his leg... I also noticed he was doing drugs when he was interviewed right after the incident with the Croslins when he went to jail.. The tv cameraman zoomed in on that right pupil and it was dilated to the max... Never flinched when that bright light hit it...
And I also recall him telling that under cover agent he could eat those pills in a two week period and pay for them himself if he couldn't sell them......JMO

How many convictions does he have on his record to do with drugs?

How many convictions has he had once he got custody of his kids other than the ones that are going on now?

I too agree with your above post and in My life I have found that ppl are much quicker to point out the negatives than they are to come to your defense. As in the fact that I believe that ppl would have much more quickly come out to REFUTE/DISPROVE RCs alibi of being at PDM from 5pm-3am on the nite of Haleigh's disappearance(Especially if what so many have said is true that alot of the ppl that RC worked with at PDM were mad or didn't like him{and 1 of the posters here at WS actually looked up&called a co worker of RC&her report of the phone call was that the co worker called RC an SOB, but her report of the convo mentioned NOT A WORD refuting RCs alibi})This would have made it all the more likely for 1 or more to have easily REFUTED his alibi and in 15mos, thats not happened.
One other thing that of course is JMHO is what RC did that last morning (2-9-2009) that really spoke volumes to me as to just how much little Haleigh was his heart&shows that for her he would go literally "out of his way" to make his little Miss Haleigh happy and it is also corroborated by others statements such as Chelsea Croslin's that stated that RC would always have Haleighs hair cutely fixed, for example w/matching, bows, socks, with her little outfits.That she would step out in the mornings looking as if she'd just left the beauty parlor and was on her way to a fashion show. That backs up the statement that the morning of the 9th that none of the outfits that were at RCs house were what Haleigh "wanted" to wear that day to school and that RC drove all way to Wetlaka to GGS to get her the specific outfit that Haleigh "wanted" to wear to school that day. Now does that say or mean or show that he was the best father ever? No, but what it says to me is that this little girl was this man's heart, his pride&evidently it brought him joy to see her happily dressed cute in her little "girlie" outfits and not only did he take the time and put in the effort to see that this little girl was not just "appropriately" dressed but dressed in exactly what Haleigh "wanted" to wear,that in a way Haleigh kinda ruled, as in what she wanted, daddy got for her. Which segways directly into another Humble Opinion of mine, that MC was infact jealous of Haleigh and RCs relationship and that MC competed with that precious little 5 year old girl.And God knows what that competiveness, jealousy& envy played a part in MC possibly with FULL Knowledge allowing to be done to and with that precious child that was her daddy's heart


ETA: My opinion of how I feel RC adored&loved his daughter in no way negates the obvious recklessness this man chose to live his life, but NEVER do I think he intentionally or even accidentally as some theorize,he harmed his little girl, NEVER. But of course this is MOO and when WHOMEVER ARE THE PERPS ARE BROUGHT TO JUSTICE,if I am proven to be COMPLETELY wrong, I WILL HAVE NO PROBLEM OR HESITATION OF FULLY ADMITTING I AM WRONG,Because my #1 goal is and has and always will be swift and powerful justice for ALL INVOLVED in this precious child's life being taken.

I know it was said Haleigh was beautiful everyday, left for school looking like a beauty queen...but Ron didn't make that happen...the young girls he had in his life did this. You are making it sound like Ron was doing Haleigh's hair with matching bows and he wasn't. TN, stated that Misty did this. IMO, Ron had no part of that. Think about Ron beating up Crystal while pregnant with his child....Think about Ron beating up Misty when she told him she was pregnant. It don't sound like a man too fond of kids, does it?

As far as Ron's work hours...it has come to a point for me where this alibi is irrevelant. I believe that something happened to Haleigh BEFORE Ron went to work, so him being at work is not an issue for me. As long as we are still in the dark about WHEN something happened to Haleigh, no one can say Ron is not involved. If you think about it: He was suppose to go to work and stay as long as possible if he was trying to create an alibi for himself. So those hours may have been verified.....but NO ONE has told us what those hours were. NO ONE knows when something happened to Haleigh. period.

IMO, Misty may have been jealous of Haleigh...but she knew what kind of guy Ron was (ya know-threats, guns)...she wouldn't dare do anything to his child. She knew if she had, Ron would beat the living daylights out of her. So, IMO, Misty wouldn't act on that jealousy out of fear for her own life. Misty has been the key to this whole investigation, you know, the investigation into to trying to find out what happened to Ron's "heart"? Ron, especially, said that Misty had absolutely nothing to do with this...how could he be so sure??? Even the police was saying she was the "key". She failed every test she took. And yet Ron defended her, to high heavens. When you add in the actions of the Cummings Clan...it tells me that the Ron has known what happened to his daughter from day 1.

I personally don't see and hear what I want to, I try to look at all sides, and focus on the big picture. When I look at the big picture...Ron is in the center of it. It is what it is. JMO though

He was arrested September 26, 2005 in Sarasota County, possession of morphine and other substances. He was in the process of filing for custody when this happened. The case was canceled. But he was arrested with:

Possession, no scrip (2 counts)
Narc Equip, (1 count)
Violating an injunction for domestic abuse (1 count)
Possession "new legend" (whatever that means, 1 count)

5 counts, all dropped, and he got custody.

I look at the big picture too and I don't believe that RCs abused Crystal. If he had, just like so many other women who are vying for custody of their children that would have been the first words out of Crystal's mouth to the Judge and she never even mentioned it until the media started giving her attention. And well...I wouldn't believe what a Croslin has to say if I saw their tongues being notarized for myself.

I look at this very logically without all the fanfare.

No one has come out and said that RCs wasnt at work during his entire shift that day. LE would not say they are satisfied with his work alibi if he had left for any reason. Therefore it is very logical that he DID work his entire shift. He even ate there. It just fits with all the sightings of Haleigh before Ron went to work and the witnesses who saw Haleigh after he went to work.

It is very reasonable to believe that a bridge building company would have several surveillance cameras set up for security. I worked for a large bridge building company for over 20 years and even way back in the 90s we had security cameras set up all over the yard.

I beg to differ........Ron Cummings verified alibi will never be irrelevant in Haleigh's case.

If you look at his arrests for drugs....and there's no doubt in your mind he was doing and selling drugs when he arrested 5 months ago...do you honestly think Ron doing drugs didn't happen until AFTER Haleigh went missing? Sooooo...you don't think he was doing drugs BEFORE Haleigh went missing?

He was on drugs while he was with Crystal. IMO, Ron has been dealing in drugs (using and selling) probably long before his kids were even born. JMO though

No arrest since then except those he got way after Haleigh went missing?

I believe much differently, and base that upon the recidivism of his past, as well as his current predicament.

I really have no way of knowing. I find it far fetched that he was on drugs when Haleigh went missing since he worked for PDM and every bridge building company I have ever known about has random drug testing. They give the employees no warning. They either summon them to the office and take them immediately to be drug tested or the supervisor goes on the yard and picks them up in his company truck and transports them from there.
