Personally I think that report was for a guilty verdict and pre sentencing, as it was it held no sway over the court, we await what the appeal court makes of the trial.

There isn't a great deal of independent information left on the internet prior to circa 2007, but what there is suggests that the majority of tourists would have had no idea about the dark underbelly of Luz represented by career criminals such as CB.

We did eat at the a la carte tapas restaurant but preferred the selection and quality of food in the millennium.

The Mark Warner staff were superb. The childcare facilities were great and when our son was ill they couldn't have done more to help.

All the pool areas are great. The adult pool is very peaceful and the kids pool area good fun.

One thing that is worth mentioning is that the resort is all cobbles so if you take a pushchair it's probably worth taking a sturdy one as the cheap lightweight one we bought especially for the trip wasn't really built for the bumps!

I recommend this resort for young families and those looking for a quiet peaceful resort with a lovely beach.

We are talking about his profile - not whether the sentences were within guidelines. CB has been charged for a series of sex abuse related crimes from his youth. Such a person only becomes more violent and daring as we have seen in other cases. There only needs to be that one time when he fulfils his fantasies. Horrific crimes against children, girls, women. Charged for at least three. It doesn't matter at all how many months or years he was charged for these. His profile is that of a sadistic psychopath.

Now the Mccanns left their apartment unlocked with the kids inside you would have thought that they had read the reviews about a prowler and the burglaries taking place .... Obviously not so with that in mind I really dont see what would have been difficult in an abduction to an experienced burglar ..one with pDFile tendencies like CB ...ok its not been proved yet however the germans say they based on what they have got believe she is dead 100% and he is there man... I dont buy the idea they are just looking to crack a high profile case or getting attention for themselves thats not how the police work ...if they say that and going off what we know about CB I am inclined to believe them over some age old conspiracy about the parents disposing of their own child while on Holiday.... My own opinion of course

I agree. IMO it's important to have that opinion. We will be always closer to what really happened and not be "mummified" or distracted with other illogical and ultra-complex narratives which are increasingly embarrassing (to not say worse), as time passes. IMO wanting to turn to the right, then to the left that creates a surreal auto-labyrinth, from which there is no escape.

Again, they were there one week knowing NOTHING about PdL and, in a matter of days, they would have been able to orchestrate so tremendous plan to kill their daughter, hide the body without any trace (!) under PJ noses slapping them in the face?! In their own area....really?! Yes, PJ had the nerve to "try" this in front of the world. As in JC's in 2004. But with MM they got screwed.

Stretching the time lapse there , you know he was guilty in 2005 but not convicted until 14 years later in another country .So he was far from inactive.

The date of conviction is irrelevant. What matters is the offence. He has been convicted for some of these (as per usual I such cases of sexual abuse) so that is not synonymous with saying he didn't commit any other such offences in the meantime. The fact that they caught him for some could definitely signify he committed more. Why would he stop?! He kept on fantasising about such offences, the psychiatrist who studied the police records (the closer one has got to him) says is a very dangerous psychopath. He attacked young and old - that is common with psychopaths.
