Juan Martinez is a Sun Devil! (go ASU!) He was admitted to the bar in '84, so while I was attending ASU as a business student undergrad he was in law school right there! I used to walk by the College of Law building every day on my way to classes. My worst (i.e. hardest) class was a business law class that started with a lot of constitutional law and went on from there. I could never understand the legal double negative speak.

But if she stabbed him while he was crouching - or if he crawled from the shower - how did aspirated blood end up on the sink and mirror? From what I recall there weren't aspirations below it like I would expect if he were using the sink to pull himself up.

Or, Nurse, would it have taken a few moments before that occurred?

I'm not Nurse but do you mind me pointing something out?
This pic blew the margins so I just linked.

"There is a further 1.5" stab puncture just near the trachea"...

IMO this may have happened before the crouching pic?
She was "going for the jugular"
I believe she stabbed him in the jugular first.
Then in the heart. I think he made his way to the sink
Clearly there is arterial spraying on the left side of the sink.
(IMO it is this 1.5 inch stab wound that was "spraying")

You made that very clear yesterday as well as the way you would defend her if you were her lawyer...

Didn't the prosecutor say she brought the KY?

It must have been on one of those receipts!

Is anyone else creeped out that the pix of TA in the shower seem somewhat focused on his neck, and then there are the 2 back shots, too? I am so creeped right now thinking that she was getting "before" pix of the areas where she planned to knife him, ala the 9 stabs in the "grouping" on the back, and then obviously the neck.

...shudder...

I know a lot of peeps think he's fantastic, but I'm not seeing it. Up close or at a distance. He's got a case he can't lose so pfft on his "amazingness." And there's no reason to be an a*hole. In person, he's unlikeable -- to me, anyway.

I'm not a fan of unnecessary theatrics, but maybe it's necessary in this day and age. Think of the top 2 "slam-dunk" Prosecution cases, in your opinion, that the Defense ended up winning. IMO, it would be the OJ and CA trials (DNA evidence was still new in the OJ case, but anyway...). In both of those trials, a healthy dose of "a*hole" was the main course for the winning team of attorneys.

Maybe that has sent an unfortunate message to attorneys everywhere.

They looked to be focused on the face/upper body area, and the back. And the side. And him lying down with his junk flopping around. I don't think there was a fixation on any specific area.

I think she was possibly testing the boundaries on what positions he'd agree to pose in, those would be the positions she could also stab him in.

Why do you think this?

Agree. But here, he's got a slam dunk. No need to be a d*ck. Almost like he can't help himself :/
