A point to keep in mind is that the subset of women who commit neonaticide is a subset of a larger group, namely women who conceal their pregnancy. The main health concerns accruing to concealed pregnancy are the increased risk of
stillbirths, neonatal death,
neglect and other forms of harm to the baby and the likelihood of (usually undiagnosed) mental disorder in the mother.
Though there is a well-established link between neonaticide and concealed pregnancy, not every woman who hides their pregnancy will commit neonaticide.

Denial of pregnancy – a literature review and discussion of ethical and legal issues
From the second article: Denial of pregnancy is an important condition that is surprisingly common, with an incidence at 20 weeks gestation of about 1 in 475. Denial of pregnancy persisting until the point of delivery occurs with a frequency similar to that of eclampsia. It poses potentially adverse consequences for both the mother and her offspring. These include psychological distress,
unassisted delivery, preterm birth,
SGA (Small for Gestational Age) babies and
neonaticide. (emphasis mine)
The psychological profile of women who commit neonaticide highly overlaps with the profile of women who hide their pregnancy, but do not end up committing neonaticide. Therefore, the mere fact that BSR fits the profile is not prima facie evidence of the fact that she committed neonaticide.
To put it in a simply analogy.
All members of the taxonomic group Carnivora have four legs.
Both cats and dogs are members of Carnivora
BSR has four legs.
Therefore, BSR is a dog. <--- This is not a valid conclusion, since she could be a cat instead.
With regards to the case:
Women who hide their pregnancy fit a certain psychological profile.
Some women who hide their pregnancy commit neonaticide.
Some women who hide their pregnancy have stillbirths.
BSR fits the psychological profile.
Therefore, BSR committed neonaticide. <--- This is not a valid conclusion, since she could've suffered a stillbirth instead.
