Emeralgem, I was going to laughingly agree with you that, that would possibly hit home... however, I'm sure that someone would have to explain menopause to her first... *smile*

Yep, laughing my butt off thinking about Misty thinking the Menopause has something to do with the underlined and bolded part of this word.
:clap::clap: Yes, Misty, menopause, menstruate, mental breakdown.....they all have Men in them...........

Wow, what a family reunion planned for May 13th. And they all have the same judge, they must be sweating right now.

Hey, they can all be character witnesses for each other. That should really help them during sentencing.:innocent:

Ron tells Hope (during the ride to court) that the state offered him 25 years for a plea. I wonder if (after today) he may decide to take them up on that ?

I found it odd when Hope said that Ron told her that they offered him a plea. Why would they offer him a plea? Dose Ron have information regarding Haleigh? He has so many priors and he is caught red handed on video this last time around, I don't see why the State would even offer him one. Unless he has information regarding Haleigh IMO.

wonder if they will wait for an arrest til after court ........they can then show felony charges prior to the arrest for Haleigh? Just thinking out loud here...

  • #706
And IF that is the case, then I'm not satisfied and I'm quite concerned....JMO

Oh, I'd be livid--that is why I said "I almost think" as I do think LE wants justice. Just frustrated with the filler of late and anxious for LE to give us something concrete as after the presser on the 15th, I really thought they had something. Just getting a tad impatient.

So Misty was 18 when she was arrested for the drugs, but if that arrest is her first time getting in trouble wouldn't that have something to do with her sentencing? I mean could she be sentenced for the same amount of time as RC?

Or he could turn someone in that is higher up in the drug chain than him. Doing this would be nothing new to Ron.

I think it is awesome that the prosecutor could play that tape of Hope and her mom talking. I didn't know they could do that. LOL

Too bad Misty couldn't have been in the courtroom too... would love to have seen her face...

As far as Hope Sykes and her sentence goes, I don't want anyone to think I have no compassion for this situation, because I do. A wasted life is a tragedy in our society no matter who it is.

With that said, however, I would have preferred that Hope Sykes had gotten the maximum sentence as opposed to the minimum.

You see, I'm prejudiced. I've got 3 little granddaughters that mean the world to me and one more drug dealer down is one less for me to try daily to safeguard their lives against.

Misty is 18, not 17, and was already 18 when arrested on these charges. If I were her and did not kill Haleigh I would be ringing for the sheriff about now, and wanted to tell the real story and take a new lie detector to back it up. Not sure about Florida but in many states, tampering with evidence and concealing a body could bring less of a sentence than the drug charges. If she waits until after she is sentenced on the drug charges, I think it will be too late for her, assuming, as I said, that she did not kill Haleigh and did not conspire to do so and can pass a lie dectector, finally, to whatever she is ready to say really happened.

Ditto that dream clucian.

lol. Tommy and Misty can say anything they want. Doesn't mean it's going to happen no matter how hard they wish it.
I have a feeling both of them will be seeing the insides of prisons.

Yep, eventually Hope will be packed up for her venture to her new home for the next 15 years. (the big girl house)

Wait till Hope calls her mother when she checks into the Prison Holiday Inn. I pray Hope gets an education God knows she needs one.

Florida doesn't fool around with drug dealers. I believe all of them will get harsh sentences.

Seems like to me they all could use one...book-wise and life-wise.

I am very anxious now to see what the rest of their sentences will be. May seems to far off to wait lol.

That was put VERY mildly! I think Tommy is TOAST!!! Doesn't he have the longest record of them all???

Oh wow! that's interesting, Tommy has been in more trouble then RC. Or maybe RC has been arrested more, but he's never been charged with anything???

I doubt it, but I would love it if they would.

MISTY CROSLIN: I just want some (EXPLETIVE DELETED) good food. I`m going to prison, I`m telling you.

TIMMY MISTY CROSLIN: For how long?

MISTY CROSLIN: Eight trafficking charges.

TIMMY MISTY CROSLIN: Huh?

MISTY CROSLIN: I have eight trafficking charges.

TIMMY MISTY CROSLIN: how long you think you`re going to do?

MISTY CROSLIN: About 21 years.

TIMMY MISTY CROSLIN: No. You`re not going to do 21 years.

MISTY CROSLIN: I`m going to prison to. Donna is going to prison. Ronald is going to prison. We`re all going to prison, Tim. Unless I can come out and tell them something.

TIMMY MISTY CROSLIN: Huh?

MISTY CROSLIN: Unless I come out and tell them something, that`s the only way I`m not going.
