How does the pornography play into Hailey being missing?

Do you ever think back to the beginning of this case before we "got to know" BD? I wonder how her friend that knew her so well, feels about her now? Not being snippy, I truly wonder if she is still standing by her side.

The fact that BD was constantly saying they had no computer or internet access always left me with a feeling she was lying. In hindsight, I do NOT believe she printed those TC stories at work anymore.

The computer the porn was found on was SA's moms right? There wasn't any found on the Xbox was there? I think SA had internet on his phone, but where else do you think they had access?

It is possible for forensics to determine where something was printed. Every printer has it's own type of "fingerprint." It is a minuscule mark that is made on ever piece of paper that is fed through the printer. You can't usually see it but under magnification it is viewable. If law enforcement confiscated any printers from anywhere, they will be able to determine if the crime story print outs came from there or not.

The city manager is trying to think of a reason since he's a normal person, but there doesn't have to be anything happening right before what happened to Haylie. I think the porn, and SA's likely addiction to it, only plays a part in SA's mindset in regards to women/girls. I don't think it played a direct role in HD's disappearance/death other than the fact that the person who was addicted to it, along with other odd behaviours and "hobbies", is likely the person who is responsible for whatever happened to her.

I also think that it is sadly looking like the CP might be the only thing that LE will ever be able to arrest him for...if even that.

So finances were tight, maybe due to BD's demotion at the hospital. So if Hailey wants lunch or spending money, she is forced to ask him. Notice BD say's "instead of telling me to ask him". Poor Hailey, how humiliating for her.

ITA. I think there was a hidden camera in her room, and possibly one in the bathroom too, maybe even one in BD's bedroom. I think maybe she found one of the cameras, probably the one in her room, threatened to tell on SA for it, and that might be what lead to her death. I just don't see SA being so blatant with her unless BD knew about it and was okay with it. But I can see him and maybe even BD hiding cameras in the house so he could get pictures of BD and HD.

I remember this interview so well. It was one of the times (many now) that gave me the heebie jeebies. I felt like it was a way for Billie to get Hailey to like Shawn. Pretty sad when someone has to pay anyone to like or put up with them.
Still today I question why Hailey would/should need to ask Shawn for anything..money included. Creeps me out

SA was obsessed with horror films; he watched them over and over. That led to him "acting" out the scenes by filming them. He had to buy the masks to "really get the feel of the part".

SA appears to be obsessed with pornography and possibly child porn. If watching didn't get it after awhile, what would be the next step......acting out the scenes and filming them......I agree that he probably had hidden cameras in the house.
