How does the pornography play into Hailey being missing?

See I disagree. If the cp was found on SA's camera, in his mom's home or BJD's home, there is plently CE to arrest him on.

I guess they could arrest them BOTH right now.....just for being in possession of CP. But I honestly believe they are trying to find out who all is involved, who the children are, where it was made, who made it...etc. I don't get just blaming it on SA, BD is just as much involved as he is. CP was only found on the two computers.

I'm not assuming from PK's statement that it was necessarily SA who took the pictures. It very well could have been BD. I think alot of people assume the child porn is ALL SA's. I think it belonged to BOTH SA and BD. I just think there is a whole lot we don't know.

I'm not a BD fan by any means and I don't doubt BD knew about the child porn. I think she and SA sold it for profit. But I have trouble wrapping my brain around her looking at it for purposes of sexual gratification. Is this what you mean by belonged to them both?

I've always had a hard time believing/understanding how a mother could let something happen to her daughter. I know it does all the time. I was reading this thread and something popped into my head -- poor Brooke Bennett of Vermont. Remember her? The creep still hasn't gone to trial. It was Brook's cousin or whatever, that had been molested and led Brooke into that trap. Without so much as a second thought. People wondered how/why she would do that. Because she had been molested and attention was turning to Brooke and kind of a jealousy it happened to me here you go-- you live it. Live I how I grew up. If you aren't familiar with Brooke's story there is a thread here. How her mother (I forget - it's her mother, correct?) and the cousin are walking around free as a bird is beyond me. They knew - but that's a story for a different day.

I wonder if Billie was talked into or did things that she normally wouldn't have done since she met Shawn and Hailey started getting a little attention and Billie turned to the "here ya go" thing and let it happen to Hailey.

I know this rambling and probably makes no sense, but I think Billie nows more than she lets on. A lot more.

UNfortunately, I think that LE is attempting to use the CP as a means to scare SA into talking. The 109,000 images sounds overblown to me. I think that he probably had a ton of porn but porn in and of itself is not illegal. Neither is beastiality. Mixed in with those hundreds of thousand images, they probably have one or two CP images that they can and will use eventually to prosecute him but I don't think that this low-life half-wit is capable of setting up any kind of a ring or participating in one in any way that will get him charged.

(Don't get me me wrong, I am hoping that they will charge him with anything they can!)

That said, I do not believe that they have ANY footage of HD in any kind of CP. If they did and they could attach it to any of his electronic devices, rest assured, he would already be in jail.

Because SA and BD are both avid fans of True Crime, I would bet they are well versed on the Brooke Bennett case.
Maybe they played out their own version. (horrible thought, I know)
They also would be well aware of the "no body no crime" misconception.
But, so far, we don't have a darn thing, not even a good working theory, only speculation. 3 months is way to long.

I don't think they are going to find anything else. If you remember from the SW affidavit, two other people are listed as being "in charge of" the residence besides SA and the GM, namely CRR and CRN. Both are young-middle aged adults. There are apparently two laptops in the house besides the computer, one was seen by CRRs parole officer, and CRR said that there was another in the house. These laptops probably belonged to CRR and CRN, and as personal computers SA would be unlikely to have had access to them. Now, they might well have porn on them, even CP, but I doubt any of that would involve SA. The parole officer also noted at least 3 digital cameras/videocameras as well as two cell phones. Those probably account for most of the remaining unknown devices that were attached to the desktop.

I'm just putting this out there because I find it interesting that he feels he's uncovered a giant child porn ring in Texas that the "good ol' boys" don't want investigated and don't pursue.... I'm just putting this out there because I find it interesting that he feels he's uncovered a giant child porn ring in Texas that the "good ol' boys" don't want investigated and don't pursue.... I found his site confusing and I'm not sure how a private citizen with no access to search warrant information about people's computer activity etc. would uncover a vast child porn ring but if any of you do, IMO the thing to do is to report it to various enterprises that exist for reporting that sort of thing, rather than complain about it and warn the presumed perps on your website. If the local police doesn't take it seriously maybe the state police or the FBI will, and if they think you're a kook too maybe you can get various charities involved in helping missing and exploited children to verify your data and exert some pressure on the authorities.
