as far as Heather's comments on the timeline of events from the 2 part interview linked upthread, absolutely no disrespect to Heather, but that interview was much later. I tend to go with the earliest interviews and news releases as I feel they have the best odds of being the most accurate in this regard.
Wylma was there helping Heather for a reason. Heather's health was poor and she needed assistance with wrangling the kids and the household apparently. So while I do not think she would be inaccurate on purpose, I tend to believe Heather was ill, tired and not the one watching the girls or aware of the times involved first hand. I believe Wylma saw the girls last around 12:15.
The existence of the surveillence video hit the news around July 25th. http://abcnews.go.com/US/missing-io...-collins-lyric/story?id=16850676#.UXLMZ7WG3dk video at link
How could all the articles from the first two days (some of which were not updated as late as the 25th) have a "revised" time of 12:15? When the articles were written containing the 12:15 time, the video surveillance was not public knowledge yet, it would not be til at least a week later. Even the updates to the original articles were made prior to the public release of the video. So Wylma changing her timeline to match up with the video timeline seem very unlikely to me.
I guess it could be argued that she knew about the video before the public, but the article above also states the person who supplied the video did not go back to look at it immediately, it was only after the girls had been missing for a bit that he thought to do so.
Thank you tlcya! Been missing you too! Excellent suggestion about revisiting Thread 1. I cannot remember if I ever read thread 1, so I definitely need to read it both to inform myself and refresh my memory.
Absolutely no disrepect to Heather, with heart problems, she is likely very weak and low on energy most of the time. She needs her mother, just like we all do. In looking back at the pictures of Heather in Cranky's photo album, the photos show an absolutely grief-stricken mother at some points who knew her daughter was dead long before the bodies were found. I hope and pray every day that the person who killed the girls are caught and punished. :seeya:
