Roommate D.M. sounds like her room was on the 2nd floor. There had been chatter about her room originally being on the 1st floor, but from the affidavit, she opens her bedroom door a third time and sees the suspect leave through the sliding glass door!

They matched him to his dad's dna through trash at his dad's house to match to the sheath. So BK probably did wear gloves out and didn't throw a thing out during that time?

I’m trying to understand what his connection is to the students. I thought the PCA would provide some kind of motive or some context as to how he chose this house or these people.

D.M. shted she oper.ed her door for the third time after she heard the crying and mw a figue clad in black clothing and a mask that covered the person's mouth and nose walking towards her. D.M. described the figure as 5' I 0" or taller, male, not very muscular, but athletically built with bushy eyebws. The male walked past D.M. as she stood in a "frozen
shock phase." The male walked towards the back stding glass door. D.M. locked herself in her rcom after seeing the male. D.M. did not stete that slrc recognized the male. This leads investigators to believe that the murderer left the scene.

Roommate didn’t call 911 for so long after this happened — curious about this (though no blaming of course— I’m sure she was terrified)

so KG was awake? Was X awake??
