Thats pretty clear.

I dont understand why people are trying to sew distrust in DNA testing.
Is it just the modern climate of conspiracies making people irrationally untrusting of science?
I think some people don’t trust what they don’t understand.

Is the Moscow Idaho Prosecutor, Bill Thompson going to prosecute the case against BK? I hope they bring in someone from Boise who has more experience.

BK doesn't look at all pleased about being pulled over driving with his dad on this bodycam footage from LEO who pulled him over on the way back to PA from ID.
I see what looks like an injury to the bridge of his nose (a scratch or cut on the left side) and bruising under his eyes in this footage.
I see the remains of bruising under his eyes in the footage of him today in the courthouse.
I think one of his victims got in a good headbutt or punched him in the face trying to fend him off.
And he started growing facial hair shortly thereafter to help conceal any wounds or bruises to his face.

ETA; He also could have had injuries to his hands, regardless of whether students/professors noticed anything different about his appearance after the killings when he returned to classes, other than him being extra quiet when they talked about the case & looking haggard, IIRC. All he had to do was keep his hands to himself/in his lap, and no one would be the wiser, especially without any reason to be checking him out up close at this point.
Hey.. Sorry if i mention anything which sounds silly. I agree with injuries to hands especially as it has now been said he wore gloves for weeks after the murders when out shopping etc to not leave DNA - he could well have been hiding the fact he may have cut his own hands.

I’m wondering if they will fly BK to Idaho overnight, in the cover of darkness?

This doesn’t come across as a “coincidental”pull over by police. Something in the officer’s voice leads me to think this was very intentional and that officer was well aware of who was in that car! MOO
Agreed. Didn't seem like an Officer of the law would approach a vehicle so carefree or I'm over analyzing...MOO

With what dna evidence though? It’s open to speculation because all we’ve been told is that DNA was in the home. We don’t know the room, or where other than “the home” That’s it. I’m sure plenty of DNA was in the home. As far as the feds or LE tracking you from ID to your parents home in PA prove to you that this man is guilty?
LE said they found DNA.

The LE was talking too fast and BK's voice was too faint for me to really hear much without doing a full-on transcription, but I swear I heard BK say "WSU".

If he knew WA/ID LE were looking for an Elantra, would he have volunteered that he was coming from that vicinity?

Then I heard the cop say "Trooper?" with a question mark, and then a moment later I heard "County". My interpretation: I'm guessing that this was the 2nd stop by law enforcement (assuming BK didn't invent the first stop) and that BK mentioned the earlier stop to this cop, who questioned the earlier stop having been made by one of their ISP troopers, and then they must have established that the first stop was made by a County Sheriff's Deputy rather than an ISP trooper.

All MOO and speculation, based on what I think I heard during a single playing of this video. Subject to change
I heard the father say his son was going to WSU. I also noticed some marks near BK's right wrist, they aren't shadows imo. It was a screenshot of BK at the wheel and officer was speaking thru passenger window. Thinking right at the beginning of video

I don't think it's the results in question by most.

It's HOW you get to the results. It is not the same in every case so how LE arrived at their conclusion (no matter how good the science) makes many of us very curious.

Genealogy research involves more than just science from my understanding. That doesn't mean the final conclusion is not scientifically verifiable to a degree that it will stand up in court.

But it does add a layer of unknowns.

Unless the entire scope of the research required to obtain a DNA match comes out publicly in court, some questions people have may always be left unsatisfied.

It's an emerging industry, so to speak. And as some have judiciously pointed out here, one we can ill afford to remain in ignorance about considering the real world consequences.

It also makes me think that the exterior of the car hadn't been washed that many times since the murders. I know there's been quite a bit of snow but that looks like a LOT of buildup.
Not obsessively washing his car and not doing inside detailing, if in fact it was driven to and from the murders, might mean he thinks he took precautions inside the car and might believe LE won't find any DNA. In fact, DNA survives and can be found in the tiny crevices of a car's interior. He may have laid down plastic on the seats, wiped down things, but there could still be DNA or fibers from the crime scene found in an odd place within the car.

At some point we will likely see the tried-and-true Wal-Mart surveillance video that we're familiar with from murder investigation shows, where his is there buying cleaning supplies or disposal supplies. That seems to always be part of the circumstantial evidence that adds credibility to prosecutions.

And did you hear what LE said to them after they told him how far they were driving "Wow, that's a long haul. Did you guys hear of airplanes?" Haha, the same thing many of us on here have been asking.

The link is the press conference they just had.
So .. that poster was relying like quotes?
Anyway...some reporter should have asked for that statue to be cited.

What makes you thinking this? He seem to work well with his lawyer at PA.
His PA lawyer is representing him for a limited purpose and one he agrees with—get him back to Idaho where he can see the basis for the charges. Easy to agree to agree.

OR,

Based on my experience (I’m a retired attorney), his knowledge of criminology (and the characterizations of him as a bully who wants others to know what he knows) may lead him to give less consideration to his counsel’s legal knowledge than to his own expertise in the field.

But of course I could be wrong and they’ll work hand in hand, of like minds, and never have a single bit of disagreement (or will be able to work it out with sensible conversation and deep mutual understanding).

Biggest takeaway for me from the presser was "ample probable cause".

Yes, and let them off twice. It was certainly a sort of check in and he looks terrified while the father is pretty carefree.

Anyone see the cop’s sleeve brush the door handle? Intentional or accidental?

Body cam footage of Bryan Kohberger stopped by Indiana State Police

Is there a transcript somewhere? I can't hear everything being said:)

PA is a commonwealth state , he has the make model color car and lived 9 miles from the king house . They were going to get the warrant. I need a link to the special circumstances if that is something you are claiming is a fact. Pretty sure the warrant part is the easiest. It the before and after that are the hardest.IMO
The DA, Mancuso, said in the presser, that getting a warrant to search the home and make an arrest in the middle of the night, REQUIRES a higher level of probable cause.
