I know, I finally checked it out. I don't even know what to say, so I'll say nothing. But I can't pretend that people's actions/behavior in this case makes sense, so....will just wait in the wings to hear.

Could you give us a link, kammie? I know we can't discuss what's on there, but I think we're allowed to link to it. Isn't that right? Why can't I remember this?

Wonder where PI Vilt is with the sketch of the staring man.

If I had a missing child the LAST thing I would be doing would be going on social media arguing with people, making comments etc.

I would not care one iota about what strangers thought of me.

Jessica's fb page has been deleted so where are you reading this at? Is this from that fight for justice for baby deorr page where everyone keeps saying that anyone who defends them is Jessica with a fake profile? Just curious because I've been looking and haven't actually seen a comment from Jessica her self. And frankly if I had people as nasty and classless as that slandering my name when the FBI hasnt even had a word to say yet you bet cha I'd be defending myself. But where has Jessica her self actually posted? Where are the screen shots?

this case is baffling and frustrating at the same time, a two year old disappears from a remote location
the possibility of a stranger abduction is (from my own POV) slim, how many kidnappers would be camping out in the chance they might bump into an unsupervised child? unless he/she knew the family and where they would be camping
so far, no remains, no bloody clothing has been found that might suggest this little one was killed by an animal
could deorr had drowned? walked to the river (is there a river nearby?), fell and drowned? if there is a current his little body might have been dragged away
still giving the family the benefit of the doubt, we don't want another azaria chamberlain mess but three months have passed by and there is nothing to indicate where this little one is

Is it time to light a fire under "Nate the reporter" and ask about the FBI report and anything else?

O/T sort of

I thought many of the members here maybe interested in this new show:

They Took Our Child: We Got Her Back. It premieres this Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 10:00 PM on the Lifetime Movie Network.

They Took Our Child: We Got Her Back tells the stories of abducted children who escaped from the hands of their kidnappers; and the families who never gave up hope on getting them home safely. Each episode features a single story, told by the formerly kidnapped child and the family members and investigators who tirelessly searched for them, according to the network. Viewers will hear about the parents’ frantic and relentless search for their child, and how they worked with law enforcement to bring them home.

FB is a wacky place and I take everything said on it by anyone with a grain of salt. However it is also a venue to try to get help when a child is missing.

I don't agree that Facebook is a wacky place. It's a great place for families and friends to share news and photographs. As far as a missing person site Facebook probably comes up short.

Facebook cannot be quoted here unless it is an MSM site, a related law-enforcement site, or the victim's Facebook. Anything that can't be quoted can't be linked.

Still waiting for the sketch of the creep in the jeep... I think we can forget about that!

I love FB for my personal usage and for biz. But I do think in cases like this it can bring out some wacky people and behavior--backwards speech analyzers, people who are very opinionated but can barely put a sentence together, people from all sides slewing crude insults at each other like agro SM road-ragers. Some of the comments make my eyes bleed. But that's just me.

I don't think there are any methods for detecting lying or guilt that have been shown to work for everyone in all situations... There are just too many variables, and it's a very, very inexact science. Even polygraphs are very inaccurate and the results of them aren't admissible in court in most parts of the world.
I know that LE haven't released the results of the four POI's polygraphs, but honestly it wouldn't affect my opinion one way or another.

A couple of weeks ago I was watching a program and they had a gal that was a Poker player. She said she always watches their throat. I think it was the right side. Some vein.

Player C might have a vein on his neck that goes CRAZY when he's bluffing. http://www.pokertells.com/how-to-spot-a-poker-tell.html

She said when they lie it pulsates. Kind of interesting.

So if the poker player and me and now you know this I am sure it's part of LE training.

Interesting the things they can look for.

I'm with you on that. Its like even if someone is gulty I'd rather peacefuly talk about it and throw around ideas while I wait on LE to make a move. The backwards speech analyzer really tripped me out.

Imo I feel like I finally get it now why the sheriff made comments about SM and why they are so worried about it. Imo that place all most seems dangerous like someone is gonna go kill them. I haven't had a very yucky vibe like that in a long time from a whole group of people. Idk maybe I'm just to nice because I refuse to bash anyone till LE has made charges and I know for sure.
And imo if I was the parents I'd have to say something as well especially if I was innocent. Some say it seems guilty but you can't act like that as a public group then not expect them to defend them selfs.

Another "tell" that seldom fails: an upper lip that doesn't move.

re: SM

I'm in my 40s, and some of the stuff I've seen on SM was stuff we absolutely kept private back in the day. I saw a couple I knew have a knock-down, drag-out fight on social media of all places, in the comments, slinging accusations back and forth, calling names, behaving like nothing I'd ever seen before. Right there on Facebook in front of all their online and real life friends. I've seen more people than I care to remember post pictures of themselves in their bathrooms (dirty as often as not). I've seen people overshare to the point that I was embarrassed for them. It's a much different world than the world I lived in during my 20s. (And to clarify, these are people I know rather than people we're discussing -- I want to make that crystal clear). I even got an unwanted front row seat to a very public divorce (twice!) of people who are much closer to my age.

If a young couple were interacting publicly with people in a situation such as this, well, it's not what I would do, but it's also not really outside the range of normal as far as I can tell. (However, I'd also posit that if they are hanging around in negative forums, it's probably not going to do their emotional health any good). All speculation and my opinion/experience only.

I believe that if DeOrr was anywhere in that area he would have been found.

The reservoir not so sure. But they did use a special kind of Sonar, up thread it talks about it, that is pretty special in locating bodies.

I don't think he was there.

I'm not so sure. They had dogs out, and they searched the area TWICE already. She was found. This was a field, in the middle of civilization, not a forest, and they missed her TWICE.

I've seen it time and again, they get found right where LE said they searched exhaustively. That's why I have learned to not point fingers without any facts, I didn't always practice that but I've learned.

.

A lot of similarities so I post this here

2 year old Rainn Peterson was with her grandparents while the mother was downtown

The grandmother was cooking in the kitchen and the three children were downstairs with the grandfather. The missing toddler went upstairs and went missing a short time after. Searchers and dogs immediately began scouring the neighborhood but could not find her

2 days later Rainn was found alive more than 1/2 mile away in a field by a searcher on a 4-wheeler
