I don't know what photo you are talking about and maybe it isn't relevant to my question, but how can you tell from a photo if someone is likely an active Mormon? Is it the clothes covering temple garments (if that is the right terminology?)? Or is there something else you are seeing?
ETA: Genuinely curious, and I don't doubt you. Rereading my question it seems glib and that wasn't my intention.
Not being glib but thinking about it, an active member of the LDS church worked as my secretary. She became engaged to a young man who was also actively involved in the church. His family and hers attended the same Ward, I think it's called for their Temple. Anyway, I didn't know right away, but it soon became evident that she wore undergarments that showed, and I was told by some of our coworkers that you can tell a when a woman wears those garments that means she's Mormon.
I can't really remember what else, except she dressed very plain, almost old-fashioned and little or no makeup. JMO, hope this helps!
The words you are looking for are modest and professional. When I first moved to Utah, from NYC, I encountered members of the FDLS. I had no idea they were fundamentalist Mormons. I thought they were pioneer reenactors. Because Utah prescribes to a mountain casual dress code, and being from NYC, I actually dressed more professionally at work than most of my colleagues and was constantly mistaken for being a member of the Mormon faith. I wore a lot of cardigans and scarves. Go figure. Clothing is generally cultural not religious, with obvious exceptions. Best not to assume attributes based on outward appearance.
