Is that an elected position? ;)

This case is both bizarre and timely; seems in its layers of weirdness, cast of characters and array of awful crimes to be almost a diagnosis of the age. Do seasoned followers still see hope that JV and TR are alive and well?
What do you think? :)

I am hopeful but it has been six months now :-(

I’m still not clear who the leader of this cult was/is. Was it Chad? or someone else?

Whoever it was, wouldn’t they be responsible for instructing their followers to get rid of their current spouses and acquire new ones before a certain date? Wouldn’t they also be in line for getting funding from the insurance payoffs to add to the “cult finances”? IMO, they should also be considered responsible for setting off the killing spree.
There's no indication so far of other dead spouses, so I think Chad is the leader of the mini-cult. That said, there are a lot more people with similar beliefs in multiple mortal probations, near death experiences, energy healings, angels, imminent end of the world, etc. They congregate on the AVOW forum. Some claim they can predict the future based on their dreams. All while claiming to be part of the LDS church.

This has crossed my mind several times. I am not a follower of the Q stuff; however, it certainly aligns very much with the timing of their beliefs about the end of days. And it is one of the most popular conspiracy theories out there. I have even considered Chad Daybell may be Q.
Whoa! That kinda blew my mind for a second. But I do not believe Chad is Q. moo

We aren't launching into conspiracy theories, are we? :(

No, but it might explain where some of the non-Mormon weirdness in Chad's ideas came from.

Sorry I brought it up, honestly. It's an even bigger rabbit hole. We should probably just leave it at that. moo :);)

Excerpt from the PAP podcast in this report. Chad is portrayed as the cult leader by the cult expert Rick Ross.

I want to know she. Chad will be arrested, when lori will be charged with murder, and when will we know autopsy results for tammi and Alex,.and why do they need 2 months to prepare probable cause prelim when I'm sure they.have enough probable cause or they.would never had arrested lori, also, this should be done in 2 or 3 weeks from arraignment. Some kind of news conference would be helpful to the public who has been so dedicated to justice for these 2 kids, they wouldn't have to tip their hand.just a little info.to let us.know some.kind of status

There are a number of editing opportunities in a couple of the sections.

Correct me if I am wrong, but it appears that after they were hired on as LVD's legal team, they hurriedly put together this website (or added to an existing one), knowing as soon as their names were made public, people would search for them. Then they went back later and made corrections to their typos, etc..

Additionally, if you go to the bottom of the page and try to select any of the social media links, none have been linked to anything. They are only screenshots, further possibly proving my assumption.

Any way you look at it, the website is pretty cheaply made compared to some other law firms.

I don’t mean to disagree with either of you but marginalizing Chad feels good.

Let’s just call him and grave digger and handy man. Sounds good to me ;)

Cheers all, stay safe!

As someone who knows several "handy men (and women), it is offensive to think you would consider those jobs marginalizing. I think we all feel the same way about Chad but this whole conversation is completely unnecessary.

The prosecution might need more time to collect and study the evidence for potential upgraded charges.

I'll say. They could have cleaned up the grammar some. And maybe used a bus, not a coach, for the title graphic.

Though the range of payment options is reassuringly comprehensive...

At a minimum we know that she was at least semi-active in church while in Hawaii which is how she met her friend April. I'm also going to guess that she or someone in her family was at least somewhat active in Arizona because the cover picture on Tylee's Facebook page is a picture of one of the Phoenix area temples, NOT something a typical 17 year old is going to do, period, in my experience. I can't imagine Tylee came to the point of doing that on her own.

None of which is an argument that Lori was following the teachings of the Mormon church, only that I think it likely that she was going through the motions of doing so, at a minimum, and possibly spinning things she was doing that appeared to be outside of the norm as "following a higher law," one way the mainstream church has of excusing/gaslighting when those in power stray, so IMO, not that far outside of the norm if Tylee has observed that in other situations.

For what it is worth, Tylee's Instagram account, if it is in fact hers and not fake,
has a link to lds.org, under a quote.

I think that is actually from some-random-person-who-shall-not-be-named hero books.

Thank you. It's refreshing to see attention being given to Chad's part.

This is the amended notice of hearing showing Michelle Radford Mallard as judge over preliminary hearing for 5/7-5/8. It also lists the panel of alternate judges who have not be disqualified thus far.

Have you checked it recently? Has it always been private or has that happened in the last month or so.?

Ok so white camps in NE Arizona would need to be on Navajo lands from looking on the map. Is anyone familiar with that part of Az? I wonder if they have started preparing any camps and that is where Tylee and JJ are? Also, when Chad stated he earned $30k per month we all thought that was baloney. But if he receives the GRI newsletter subs which are $4.95 a month, they have 13k members so if only 6k opted to have the newsletter he would have his $30k monthly. He also has a Sales Exexcutive job with Falls Printing so would have to be on a few thousand per month for that plus his book sales so maybe that figure wasn't an overestimate.

They have 13K members. They don't get $4.95 a month from 13K people. We've discussed this multiple times. Also, that 13K number is for the overall AVOW site and however many actually are paying to access that, the number for the GRI subforum would be some smaller number unless every person also subscribes to the subforum. What are the odds of that?

The job with Falls Printing he quit some time ago. (I don't remember when we were told he quit, but long enough ago that he'd be telling lies to pretend that income was still current, no longer what his Linkedin account might say.)

The Navajo Nation is not going to allow outsiders to occupy their land.....even Natives don't own land - they can "use" it only. All land belongs to the Nation. You have to be a Native or married to a Native to live there.

ETA If one is employed on the reservation (ie as a teacher, medical professional, etc.), they will provide housing.
