My apologies for asking this, but I am unable to keep up with this thread. Are there no legal consequences for having missed the Thursday deadline to produce the kids? LE hasn't gone back to Hawai'i to arrest them for violation of that order?

The case is sealed due to involving minors. Due to it being sealed there could have been a contempt of court ruling on Friday (or it may happen tomorrow, on Monday, if court was not in session Friday) but we would not be told about it if the judge has found Lori in contempt for not producing her children. The prosecutor explained they only made an exception to let the public know that the child protection order existed in case someone else could have produced the children by the deadline. He said they could not give any other details in the case than what was released. If she is found in contempt and the judge puts out a warrant for her arrest, then there could still be some legal maneuvering to get Lori arrested and extradited. The governor of Idaho may have to sign off on an extradition from HI. Bottom line is that a lot could be happening behind the scenes and we wouldn't know about it. I have a feeling we will not find out if anything happened until we hear she is arrested/extradited. I hope Kauai locals are keeping close tabs on Lori and Chad and that we will get plenty of eye-witness reports when she is arrested. I also think they may wait on Tammy's autopsy to come back so that they can scoop up Chad at the same time as Lori. I'm optimistic that we are getting close to some major movements happening. MOO.

@divineappt @tresir2012 @KonaHonu , you may have seen my other post, but Alex's felony in Texas went through deferred adjudication in Texas and the felony wasn't entered as a final conviction. So, after he completed his probation, his gun ownership rights were restored 100%. He technically doesn't have a felony on his record, even though he committed felony assault and served time for it.

Thanks for your research!

Have you ever heard of Robert Berchtold? This situation reminds me a bit of what happened with him. There's a documentary called "Abducted in Plain Sight"...fascinating.

Yes, that was a wild situation, wasn't it? Sometimes I think some people are too naive to realize what is going on which I thought was the case with Abducted in Plain Sight and would probably be a fair initial assumption of anyone at the ward they dropped into today and were convinced that there was much ado about nothing like Chad and Lori apparently want them to think.

Is it outside the realm of possibility that the LDS church(es) nearby have already heard from/are working with LE?
If Kauai is anything like Kona, there are many LEOs who attend that church. I'm sure their eyebrows were raised!

I am floored they went to their local LDS ward! I didn't think their attorney would be on board with them going out and about and talking about the case and the media coverage. There is going to be a bias factor at play here for some people to take Lori's side if she says the kids are safe but need to be out of sight (Lori: "Charles's family aren't members of our church, and I don't want JJ to be influenced by that type of an environment.")

I missed a bunch of pages over the past two days, so I need to catch up on what's been discussed, but in the last couple of pages it seems there has been discussion of whether Tylee and JJ are in Hawaii. I have wondered this for a long time. There's a certain control factor with Lori about her kids. If they are alive, they are with someone she 100% trusts, or they are in expensive private schools/camps/programs. Check the Arizona memorial/obituary page for Charles Vallow (not the Texas one, and not the Louisiana one), then do some sleuthing that can't be posted here about what one commenter's job was and where she lives currently. Maybe?

I sure hope that last part is right.

I know members on all of the islands but Kauai, I'm so bummed lol.

Then there would be a record of them flying.
If they flew from Idaho, Utah, Arizona, etc to Hawaii it is a domestic flight and no ID is needed for a minor. Agree there would be a record but there is no reason it would be under their real names IF someone wanted to hide it.

There would be video surveillance at airports which makes it comforting to know the FBI is involved. Local LE would not have the resources to go through that.

The death certificate would be issued in Idaho so he would have needed to bring that with him ... if they even bothered to check. I'm really hoping a Google search for "documents required for marriage license in Hawaii" predating Tammy's death shows up on that home computer they hauled away in Rexburg.

This is the part where I totally find calculated.. We have heard from a Verified person (friend) how Chad was acting at the funeral and making weird comments about being a bachelor and I think from a different Verified saying .. Chad had moved in with Lori a couple days after funeral. So now we have him carrying a Death Certificate to get married. Skip a little bit forward in timeline and a phone call from his kids that his wife of 30 yrs body has been exhumed and he is still in Hawaii.
One week ago today, I confronted Chad and Lori Daybell in a hotel resort parking lot. Today I'm told they attended meetings at the LDS Church in Lihue, Hawaii. They were seen speaking with the bishop and acted as if everything was ok. One member overheard them saying media reports are one-sided and lies. They told ward leaders they wanted to attend church but didn't want to cause any problems. They acted normal, friendly and didn't seem to have a care in the world. A member was surprised that THEY brought up the news and police in a room with several people. Oh, and Tylee and JJ? They were not with them. Had they been, I'm sure the ward would have welcomed them with open, loving arms.

Maybe they are building multiple cases like at least 3 murders? Or just Alex and Tammy? Some poisons are rare and aren't usually tested first time. There's about 8? I think I read that are usually tested, but you might want to look that up to verify. Takes longer for testing. Really hoping it breaks soon. "That's Great" LD may drag the children's whereabouts for years or forever, sadly.

So the teachers in this private school are living under the rock? They don't know anything about the situation? Teachers are mandatory reporters. I am assuming they would have reported having JJ in a school. Tylee wouldn't even be in school because supposedly she graduated.

There are private flights from the mainland but they are expensive. They are non-TSA meaning you do not have to go through security or necessarily show ID. From Honolulu you can fly directly to Princeville on Makani Kai airlines. If they were regular visitors they may have known about these options if they wanted to fly under the radar. But they seem to be using their own names so I don't think this is what happened.

The autopsies are so so important, there's every possibility that Alex Cox is the only person who knows where the children are. MOO

Since Chad claims he talks to spirits, he will have to ask Alex then.
Authorities screwed up not doing Tammy's autopsy right away. If she were poisoned, it might no longer be detectable.

My mind is blown. They seek the spotlight. They want the attention and the media coverage. Is it so they can get more followers!? I have the worst feeling about these two, and I am worried sick about those two precious kids - who never asked to be in this nightmare. Instead of being interrogated on the whereabouts of the children and the mysterious deaths, they are lingering around regular people. Regular people who don’t leave a trail of death and missing people in their wake. Ugh. MOO

So, if I were to hide kids away like JJ and Tylee, I would 100% not have them at the same place and I’d likely have some other adult drop them off as their parent/guardian. Also, they would be under different names and I’d likely change their hair. My kids look way different with different haircuts/styles. People don’t ask many questions if you appear confident enough. Entirely conjecture, though.

Sorry but if these 2 freakin Psychopaths show up in my Sacrament Meeting
(LDS Mass/Communion) I am going to sit right next to them and pull up the Missing Children’s Website and ask them point blank .. where are these kids?! Tell me what kind of game they are now trying to play with the American public by showing up at Church?! MOO

Private schools/camps/programs have gone through too much accreditation and have too many salaries counting on them to hide kids, maybe until last week but now it's national news and they would have come forward. Anyone hiding those kids faces federal sentences, and they're not going down for two students. MOO

Quoting myself to add to this-- We have also been told that the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare must deliver a report to the judge on the investigation into the health, safety and welfare of JJ & Tylee by Feb 10 (according to East Idaho News). I believe that comes from the docs that were released (Part B says they have 15 days): READ: The court document given to Lori Vallow Daybell involving her children | East Idaho News

When I read the docs I interpreted that 15 days as being 15 days from the order issue date (Jan 16) but East Idaho News is interpreting it as 15 days from the days Lori was served the order (Jan 25). Either way, an investigation has to have been happening so that the DHW can report back to the judge. I believe it's only because of the sealed case that we don't know anything else about what is happening. MOO.

JJ would make a big splash, I don't think he could be hidden, also as teachers we figure out real quick who has dyed hair, hard to hide on little ones for long. MOO
