My apologies for asking this, but I am unable to keep up with this thread. Are there no legal consequences for having missed the Thursday deadline to produce the kids? LE hasn't gone back to Hawai'i to arrest them for violation of that order?
The case is sealed due to involving minors. Due to it being sealed there could have been a contempt of court ruling on Friday (or it may happen tomorrow, on Monday, if court was not in session Friday) but we would not be told about it if the judge has found Lori in contempt for not producing her children. The prosecutor explained they only made an exception to let the public know that the child protection order existed in case someone else could have produced the children by the deadline. He said they could not give any other details in the case than what was released. If she is found in contempt and the judge puts out a warrant for her arrest, then there could still be some legal maneuvering to get Lori arrested and extradited. The governor of Idaho may have to sign off on an extradition from HI. Bottom line is that a lot could be happening behind the scenes and we wouldn't know about it. I have a feeling we will not find out if anything happened until we hear she is arrested/extradited. I hope Kauai locals are keeping close tabs on Lori and Chad and that we will get plenty of eye-witness reports when she is arrested. I also think they may wait on Tammy's autopsy to come back so that they can scoop up Chad at the same time as Lori. I'm optimistic that we are getting close to some major movements happening. MOO.
