When you look up the cases. MB is not listed as relative of LV nor vice versa. Is this normal?
What cases? Since MB is a niece of Lori, MB would not show up in any cases connected to Lori or vice-versa. That said, you will find a number of names come up in the divorce case of MB's mother (Lori's sister) in Washington state.

I'm pretty sure the earthquake Chad believes in is the same one his Author friend predicted back in about 2015,6(don't remember which, but it would be on LDSfreedomforum threads), it just never happened. I don't know if 'lots and lots of people' sold homes in preparation. I remember that she had people who believed her who I read were taking the pictures off the walls of their homes and moving heavy furniture for fear that the earthquake was going to hit about 4:00 am in the spring (she said the grass was green and there was snow), but truthfully, her influence wasn't that big. I live in Salt Lake and I only knew a couple of people I could talk about her nuttiness with, most people had no clue who she was, and she was even on the radio for interviews several times. MOO

She predicted that the earthquake would hit in September 2015. I live a little over an hour away from SLC and a fair amount of people told me "tribulations" were coming soon. Not everyone was prepping for the earthquake, but there were some who were stocking up on supplies-tents, RVs, guns, etc.

I heard that the author was very popular in Idaho Falls. In fact, my brother-in-law and his family moved from Idaho Falls because they felt like people there were too radical in their beliefs, and he didn't want his kids in that type of environment. My niece was nervous because of things she heard from kids at church and school. Maybe some of that over zealousness spilled over into Rexburg.

This may sound like a quick judgment on my part, but in the videos I've seen of Lori, she is not wearing garments, which are something that members who attend the temple (except those who perform proxy baptisms) wear under their everyday clothing, she would not be able to wear tank tops. I've been assuming that she has not been to the temple, but have never heard either way. I don't think I've ever read that any of her marriages were sealed in the temple. Maybe others know?
And the Hawaii or Kauai temples/members may be more lax on that kind of stuff... I've def seen people go in barefoot, boardshorts and in snap back hats too, big surfing community here.

Im not American. So understanding what is normal and not is difficult. Seems to me both I did same search for MB as above and both seem to have a very high number of names associated with the cases but not each other...

Okay. Sites like that tend to not capture all relatives especially when sisters marry and then they and any children they have different names, especially relatively common names or if they have been married more than once or they died young (which is the case with Lori's sister).

ETA: So, in this situation Lori's sister, MB's mother, is Stacey Cope.

Jethro4WS thank you. Auto generated data. Got ya!

Did you watch the video I just posted?

I was under the impression from this weeks postings that the case got serious when they first looked into td death. Found out cd was married already. Looked into lv and discovered her kids are missing.

The detective on phone on the video seems to suggest some case in Arizona lead them to TD.

Both can be true but begs the question. What case or cases in Arizona are they referring to?

Just a thought... so what if CD and LV were married in the Temple in Rexburg ID (if they both had their temple recommends) this is possible and no witnesses needed they have them present... MOO just a thought ...
Does Lori Vallow have a temple recommend? Also, they would both have to have special sealing interviews and recommends from the Bishop and Their Stake President to be married in the temple, you can't just go there, show them your recommend and ask to be married, it doesn't work that way. Chad would have had to go and have interviews with his Bishop and interview with his stake pres. to have this special sealing recommend sometime during the two weeks right after his wife died. He would have had a lot of explaining to do with them. Also, Lori had just moved to Rexburg, I don't know how easy it would have been to get this done quickly, since her current Bishop and Stake Pres. would want to talk to her previous Bishop and Stake pres. before signing off. Does this even seem plausible?

Maybe someone else will chime in, but I believe that in order to be married in the temple you're still required to have a wedding license and that would have shown up in the searches some have done of Idaho public records.
And yes, they must also have a marriage license which they bring to the temple along with a special recommend for authorization to have an 'own ordinance' performed. This really isn't something that would be easy to pull off--in Chad's situation, I'd say it would be impossible to get any of his church leaders to sign off on this when his wife was only dead a few days.

While I realize Bailey is a service dog, i can't remember ever seeing a dog listed on a protective order. Jmo
Bailey is there. Very last line.

4th Feb 2019 - petition for order of protection

Quote:
5. The following persons should also be on this Order. As stated in number 4, the Defendant is a danger to them: Joshua Vallow

9. Other: Bailey is a black goldendoodle and he's JJ's service dog.

14th Feb 2019 - divorce petition

Quote:
Mother also told Father that she did not want anything to do with him or the children (the parties have emancipated children along with JJ) and that Father could have them because she had a more important mission to carry out.

Mother has also never contacted Father about JJ's well-being

Mother proceeded to warn Father that she would kill him upon his return home

I can't phrase this better than Maya Angelou did; When people show you who they are, believe them the first time.

11th Jul 2019
- Charles Vallow was killed.

Aug 2019 - Bailey was taken from JJ.

I believe Lori engineered the reconciliation in Houston and Charles' return to Arizona, so that she could kill him.

I believe she has killed the children, between 24th and 30th Sep. My guess is it was the 24th or night of 23rd. She wouldn't want JJ home from school, and she could take them away on the pretence of a birthday trip for Tylee. No sightings after 23rd. No birthday skype with Colby or her friends. And then they moved on to planning for BB.

1st Oct she hired the lock-up.

@alter idem From what I know about mormonism, you have to go through a special ceremony to wear those garments. If you don't go through the ceremony, you can't wear them. They are special and not for everybody.

I think they are referencing the attempt shooting of BB. His car was hit.

FWIW, I suspect LVD has hair extensions. They are really popular in the ID, UT, AZ corridor, and tend (to my eye) to look unnaturally long. If not, she really has amazingly great hair for a woman of her age!
Yep, in looking at her in the video at the Kauaii resort, the thought came to me that she looked like she has hair extensions. They look nice, but sometimes, when hair is just too perfect, perfectly curly or perfectly straight, etc. and full, it's likely that it has help.

But if they didn't know about LV until after they suspected TD death wasn't natural causes then how could it be BB attempt murder the case that lead them to TD?

Yes, you are right. It is part of going to the temple to receive our 'endowment'. Afterward, we wear sacred undergarments under the clothing, which means that many styles can no longer be worn, like tank tops, spaghetti straps, short midriffs, short skirts or short shorts, or they will show. This is a judgment on my part, but many of the pics and videos of Lori I've seen, she's not wearing garments and so, I was under the impression that she may not have received her endowment. I don't know about this, but it was just my impression. Some people have been to the temple, but for various reasons, stop wearing garments or don't wear them as often as expected, and that could be Lori's situation, but I just don't know.

EDIT broken link

It's very interesting to see how each of the police forces/state professionals have gone about their duties in the different jurisdictions. This is an interesting pdf on coroners inquests and the Idaho state laws governing. In the first page we can see that this wasn't followed in the case of TD's death
Section 19-4301 – Idaho State Legislature

That is great info, Busymom4. According to that doc you linked, the coroner should have referred the death to LE for follow-up.

I feel like they each (LV and CD) look differently enough -- in the videos from Kauai -- that they're trying to change their look, so that they aren't as recognizable. That was my first thought, it looks like something of a transformation with both of them. MOO

I think you're misunderstanding. I realize Bailey is a service dog [so Bailey may be seen as more vital which is why he is on the protective order] I have never seen a dog [household pet] listed on a protective order [only humans]. This is a new one on me.

You also can't get a temple recommend if you don't wear them, from what little I know. That was one reason I asked if temple recommends can be revoked. Jmo
