Let me be a little more clear-if the scenario was the mysterious "they" presenting a dead Caylee to Casey...I think Casey would have run to LE in a minute with the child and explained to LE that "they" murdered her child.

If she drove to the nearest police station with her dead daughter they wouldn't have considered her blameless & foolish, they would have charged her with murder. Same if anyone else took the dead child to the police.

Uhhh no. They would investigate and find out what happened. If this would have happened, Casey would have been giving truthful information instead of lies to get the real killer blamed. Only to save herself, of course.

If Casey was handed a dead Caylee.......say on the 17th, and it was by her lover AL.....and he told her that she was killed because of some sort of illegal activity that AL was involved in, Casey could in no way explain this to her parents, nor inform authorities, per AL instructions. Good...BUT for the fact of her discussion on her cell with him in the police car (IIRC, it was in the car??)...he was asking her, something to the effect of, WHY didn't she tell him anything about this, etc....IMO, he seemed GENUINELY surprised.....and flustered.

I'm sure the defense will dream up a lot of variations on a theme, or various themes to build variations around - that's their job.

As you say, this scenario is unlikely. I would call it inane. But when you have nothing to go on with, I suppose you resort to anything. Aliens might be the next move.

Tony took his car in to LE voluntarily and they inspected the whole thing and even sprayed it with a Luminol-like spray (can't think of the name of it - begins with a 'B' if I remember correctly). I can't remember if they used a dog on it. I don't think so. There is a report of everything they did to his car.

This is good, Tweety, but....

if this scenario goes down like this, Casey's behavior after the fact doesn't add up.

Why would she still be with him, and covering for him? She didn't act upset by the death of her daughter? She would put her dead child in her trunk, and go about her merry way as if nothing had happened?

So, Casey really, really likes him after AL gets Caylee killed because of his shady illegal ways? She moved in with him! Remember the "Mrs. A.....L doodles"? It sounds like you're going with the idea she was following someone else's script on how to act the 31 days. I just can't buy it. She dated enough of the police force to have gotten some help reporting it right away if somebody killed her child I would think. Geez, her Dad was ex LE. Plus, Casey is too selfish to protect anyone but herself, and could care less about her family she pretty much hated.

I didn't intend to make any other implication, it is not obvious to me. I am not asking anybody to believe my theory, I am just putting it out there as a possibility.
