@CrimeWatchDaily @mattdoran22 @WGNTV @mmaterre The crime show just before our 4p news has an exclusive with wife of Fox Lake Lt. Glyniwiecz.
Have to run and can't figure out which show this was, nor a recording. Anyone else?
I think I found it. http://crimewatchdaily.com
It's on WGN daily at 3pm. Outside of the Chicagoland area people can enter their zip code to see when it airs. Not sure where it is aired.
“There was a lot of anger,” she says of the moment she first heard Rudd suggest that her husband had committed suicide. “The coroner is an elected person. He didn’t perform the autopsy. The one that performed the autopsy came and stood on my deck and told me everything.”It won't air until Friday according to this link.
Sounds to me like she has been prepared for them to rule if a suicide and she is getting out ahead of the news cycle.

“I wholeheartedly believe he was murdered,” Melodie Gliniewicz says through tears in an exclusive interview with Crime Watch Daily set to air Friday.
I don't recall if this was mentioned yet, sorry if it is a repeat.
The man whom the Task Force called into the secret meeting without Rudd's knowledge also had ties to the Calusinski case.
Dr. Manny Montez was the doctor who consulted on the autopsy and later testified that the toddler had suffered a brain injury that day. It turned out in a subpoena after the trial that Montez had failed a board exam in anatomic pathology in 2001 and hadnt taken an exam for forensic pathology at all.
I have not been able to verify if he was subsequently board certified in pathology or forensic pathology.
Interestingly former Lake County Coroner the late Artis Yancey was a huge supporter of Manny Montez. Yancey was an ex-Waukegan Police Chief who became Coroner. He lost the most recent Democratic bid to Rudd who went on to become Coroner. Yancey died last year.
I wonder why Montez was used at all and who chose him. Did Filenko request Montez be used or did Rudd make that choice? And why?
Interesting commentary on the issues with the coroners office.

One does have to wonder about this meeting which excluded Rudd. What did everyone want to hide from Rudd?
If Rudd truly believes he doesn't have the evidence for homicide then he needs to say it was accident or suicide. I think undetermined would be political and I would hope someone in this entire mess would stop playing politics for five minutes. If things change they can always change the method of death later. And we know the wife is going to sue for everything anyway if they don't say it is homicide.I hope they wouldn't call a live presser for an undetermined ruling. That can be announced with a simple written press release.
And if it is undetermined, why wait so long to release that info?

She added: There were two shots. Somebody that is going to kill themselves is not going to shoot themselves twice.

I just hope the insurance doesn't cave thinking it is cheaper to pay than fight because it is disrespectful to those who were killed in the line of duty.

'Not having the evidence' for something does not mean it never happened. There are many murderers walking free for lack of evidence but that does not make them 'innocent.'
