This made the news a few weeks ago:

'On Sept. 8, 2019, an image supposedly showing a child smoking during a football match went viral on Twitter.'

'This video, however, does not feature a child. The person smoking in this footage is actually a 36-year-old man.'

He does not look 36.

She doesn't have whatever condition he has. Her's does not cause that.

And importantly, she had clearly aged.

I think people could be putting to much weight into the photos.
1. I'm a fully grown adult and have been for much more than 10 years.... I still look different than I did 10 years ago and have definitely aged (thanks small daughter for your help with that!) She will have aged from potentially a young adult to potentially a slightly older adult.
In the early photos if she wasn't actually a young child she was acting a young child so would have held herself differently in photos and she was wearing cute dresses and hair bows .... In the more recent photos she's obviously dressing and acting more adult.
Although I did see one recent photo of her in a pink Minnie Mouse dress with a tutu the sort of thing my 3 year old would adore... What self respecting young adult would want to dress like that?!
2. Photos can be decieving - remember Gypsy Rose.... we all saw the photos and thought she was a poor little victim .... how different did that story turn out! (I still believe she was a victim of sorts, but that's for a different thread!)
3. She may also look physically different as her dwarfism has potentially been left largely untreated for this long period of time. I'm not medically trained though so this obviously my own opinion. But I have watched the Little Couple and know they regularly need various surgeries, has she had access to that kind of care?!

I'm sorry and respectfully, these two photos don't represent someone "holding themselves differently." They show a normal child's face shape and an older teen's. And she didn't have a chest in the earlier photo. That's not from how she's standing.

According to court documents reviewed by Insider, Natalia was hospitalized multiple times in 2011 and 2012 at St. Vincent Stress Center in Indianapolis, and later at a state-run facility. Psychiatric testing revealed that she had mental illnesses consistent with patients in their late teens or twenties, the court records say.

While Axsom said she didn't believe it was right for a family to leave the country with a young woman recently out on her own, she also doesn't think Natalia was a child.

"I'm not sure how old she was, but she had to be at least 18," she said. "She didn't seem worldly enough to be 30 now. I think it must be something in between."

The two not only attended classes together but socialized in the neighborhood, often meeting up with people from a drug and alcohol recovery house at the end of the block.

"I never worried about her going over there because I was always with her," Axsom said. "[The residents] had to take an alcohol test every night, stay clean, and sign in and out. Natalia was lonely and just wanted people to talk to."

My response what towards the mom who said she was already matured and never grew at all in her care. You can clearly see that she's gone from child to teenager in the pics since being newly adopted and current.

How long was the girl with them?

IMO this last statement was a cover to abandon the child. It is likely that she exhibited issues that the parents couldn't handle. The father has indicated his belief that the daughter was a minor when they left her. Two doctors had independently estimated her age at 8 in 2010 and 11 in 2012 using the more accurate method of cranial development assessment (how our skull bones seal is an accurate time estimate).

I'm curious what form of dwarfism N might have and what effects, other than stature-related, that form could include? Are the doctors who've attempted to determine an approximate age for N used to examining the morphological traits of a person with that condition and other conditions that might be co-existent with it?

Edit: I read on a DailyMail article that the condition is called spondyloepimetaphyseal dysplasia

It would be conduct disorder and/or oppositional defiance disorder for a kid and anti-social personality disorder for an adult.

The fact that the Barrett's doctor who wrote the letter to support their contention, did not refer to an actual, clinical diagnosis, makes him even more suspect to me.

If you look at the video you can see he's got crows feet, which to me is a sign that he is a 36-yr old man.

But the examples of secondary sex characteristics and 'adult' dentition I would only think would support a minimum age of around 10-12 yrs old. I don't see either of those, taken alone or even together, necessitating aging an individual as older than 18?

I don't think that's the totality of the evidence (at least I hope it's not). I'm happy to be corrected, but I think that's all we've seen and seems to be more of an open letter.

I'm not even sure it's real, is declaring "NB has made a career of perpetuating her age facade" really within the remit of a family doctor?

You're asking good questions about N's medical diagnosis, but it's not something I know anything about, so for the time being, going solely by the pics I'm more inclined to believe N.
