I seriously doubt they are alive. I'm hoping that they will find their remains.
I fear you are correct. HeartbreakingI seriously doubt they are alive. I'm hoping that they will find their remains.

We're approaching one year with no sign of Diamond or King. How can this be? Where are they?
Far-fetched theory, but perhaps Diamond got into an abandoned car and couldn't get out so her and the baby passed as a result of heatstroke? I don't think they'd succumb to the elements in an abandoned house, but maybe. Just a silly thought to keep the thread on top.
I was not able to find either Diamond or King in NAMUS. Has anyone found them?
King does have an NCMEC listing/flyer and a picture of Diamond is inlcuded, although no description of her (eg: no notation of her very short stature!)
I seem to recall reading in one of the articles last year that LE had taken DNA samples- I don't remember if that was like from their personal items, or just from relatives so a DNA profile could be developed if needed. I hope that DNA at least got into CODIS.
It just seems like there must be something else to do that we haven't thought of yet.... :sigh:
I didn't find them, either. I asked about it on one of the missing pages and will update if I get an answer.
Monday marked one year since Diamond Bynum, now 22, stepped outside her family's house at 5th Avenue and Matthews Street with her now 3-year-old nephew, King Walker, and disappeared. Her father, Eugene Bynum Jr.; his wife, Susanne, and mother, Daisy Bynum, spent the day at Eugene Bynum's computer business on Cleveland Street in Gary and reminisced about the two.
Eugene Bynum, who has avoided social media since someone faked a confession that he was responsible for their disappearance, plans to post the video in hopes of renewing interest in their disappearance. He has to do something, because he and the family feel like no one else cares.
"We never imagined that we'd still be here a year later and not have any answers," Susanne Bynum said. "The house (on Matthews Street) still reminds me of it all."
OK, the drawing of the victim sent chills through me. I'm probably just looking for any resolution but IMO it may resemble Diamond. No matter my heart breaks for the victim and family/loved ones.Unfortunately a severed head was found in the McKinley Park lagoon. Probably unrelated but made me wonder where Diamond and King are.

Diamond is the first person I thought of the second I saw the drawing also. This is definitely heartbreaking!OK, the drawing of the victim sent chills through me.
