Guys & Gals,

Please don't compare this case to the one in FL. They simply are NOT the same. Different crimes, different jurisdictions, different people involved...everything is different! I realize many have scar tissue from watching FCA walk away free, but it's important to understand that one case does not equal the other!

Stay focused on this one; in this case the killer has at least admitted she did commit the homicide. They have a ton of evidence showing it was her and her alone. This isn't the FL Caylee case.

I had unexpected visitors over and missed JA's testimony after lunch.

However, I am willing to bet my right hand that I only missed lies...

Agree. Did you see the female defense atty flash a look over at the prosecutor when Jodi forgot her demure, church mouse act and said 'he (Travis)admitted he screwed up...'

I have noticed her glancing to her left several times - wasn't sure if she was looking at Juan or at the jury to see their reaction.

The female attorney actually strikes me as quite bright and alert. Not so much Nurmi.

I just need to know a city or state to justify my much needed imminent actions. TIA

I am banking on that line of thought.
This is Arizona not Florida, and this lovely example of a young woman from California (whom I am certain they don't consider a true Mormon) dismembered this innocent young hard working man.

They don't play like that.

Me thinks she will never step foot out of Arizona again.

As we see State by State we can get some funny Jury Verdicts. Florida, everyone gets to go home, California you acquit and Los Angeles riots and burns down :seeya: I am trying to remember others.

Arizona is a State I picture rather tough on crime and not really too darned concerned about what any other State thinks.. That's what I love about them...

If one were to act uninterested, unsatisfied, uncomfortable and in pain during sexual encounters, how would that be indicative of a "Pornstar" nickname? Wouldn't someone who is called "Pornstar" by their sexual partner (be it as an insult or not) be most likely aggressive, overly willing and hyper-erotic and a nymphomaniac, like TA's friend and others have said?

My thoughts EXACTLY. I was listening to the trial in the car yelling that same thing at my radio. She's a piece of work.

At this point I think Casey Anthony vs. Jodi Arias is an unfair comparison. This case, in my opinion, is much stronger and unlike Caylee's case you don't have the whole family obfuscating the truth so the poor prosecution can't even effectively establish motive. (Not a legal requirement but I believe juries like things all wrapped with a bow.) Most importantly in this case you have 18 people who are carefully listening to the testimony and forming well-thought questions.

She may very well not receive the death penalty as a result of having testified but (an already rare) Pinellas ain't gonna happen again. JMO

Ok on break...we got shut down w phones and iPads today so no access. I will not be on dr drew tonite as he wanted a male perspective but they said next week but unfortunately I'm out of town so maybe the following week at this rate Jodi will still be on direct! I'm taking good notes

Hey Katie - is the jury still awake?

Hey all - I just got to turn on the trial and they went on break. Where is Jodi in her testimony? Are they up to where Travis got butchered yet?

The way things are going in this case, that may not happen until March!! :rocker:

I just can't believe how mind numbingly bad Nurmi is. I knew he was horrible but my god this man his so so bad. :banghead: And his making up words like Jodi said things she didn't say like "Buds". He makes me ill.

So taken by the change in her demeanor as the jury left! WOW - hope that is as bad as it looks!

This trial and Mr Nurmi 's performance as a trial lawyer should be a part of every law schools education and part of a course "Becoming a Trial Lawyer". This is a prime example of what NOT to do and what not to be.

It is rare to see such an inept abysmal performance as a trial lawyer as you are now seeing Mr Nurni do.

I doubt Mr Nurmi went to any "accreditied law school and it is hard to believe this man actually passed a bar exam.

to take this case does nurmi have to be death penalty qualified?

A little sign of affection and she would probably be all over the person showing it! Not normal at all!

IIRC there was an interview with Skye and she mentioned Jodi licking/kissing Travis ear..that I would find to much PDA----I've told my daughters I don't like seeing alot of PDA when they have their significant others---
