Good morning Sleuthers. I haven't caught up on the thread yet but:
Mulling over yesterday's testimony (or as Mr. Martinez so adroitly called it, 'litany', and Nurmi, in a Freudian slip, called it 'story') we are to believe that a young bachelor purchased, or had on hand, a 25' roll of decorative rope just in case - what? He found it necessary to run all the way downstairs to fetch a knife from the block in the kitchen, because he obviously did not own a pair of scissors - this same rope that Arias described as green and gold, and Nurmi then referred to as 'tan'. Are we to take it that after the murder Napolean ate it all? That's before Arias locked him behind a doggy gate so that he was not traumatized by the sight of his bloody master, of course.
I wonder if today we will hear that in fear for her life from an abuser that she wanted to stay on friendly terms with, and who had once caused her to fall on her knees, kicked her once, and back-handed her jaw and neck (not her face, remember) once, she stabbed him once, and fled the house. Upon arriving home, his room-mate discovered Travis bleeding over the sink from the one cut and decided to humanely put him out of his misery by adding 27 more stab wounds, slicing his throat, and shooting him in the head with a gun he was known to always carry on his person, before returning to join his girlfriend in his own bedroom for the next four days, thereby forgetting there was a body in the house.
P.S. Before anyone takes the above seriously, this is a tongue-in-cheek sneer at the murder scenario presented so far. :seeya:
