Thread moves so fast I am having a hard time keeping up. Glad you brought this up because for a while there I was thinking that I had just imagined her saying that. Wanted the world to "BELIEVE" I loved him. Seriously.

Aha!! I think I just figured out why JA testified that she had no shoes on when she "awakened" in the dessert. It's because she really WASN'T wearing shoes during the crime.

Meaning: That's NOT a shoe in the pic where she's dragging TA. It's just a sock she's wearing.

Why just a sock? Because this was part of her premeditated plan. She knew a shoe could leave tell-tale imprints (like OJ Simpson's infamous Bruno Mali shoe imprints).

This way, there'd be no bloody shoe prints, Yreka-style dirt evidence, or foot sizing proof that a small woman did the crime. Probably a bright idea Jodi got from a movie or TV show.

A sock, however, would leave no such imprint. It would just smear any blood around, like a rag would.

They did find a bloody shoe print, though.

I have pink eye or some sort of eye infection. My doctor wanted me to come in this afternoon, told him i couldnt, prior commitment. He says, tomorrow afternoon? I said, no can do. I need something before noon. My appointment is now on Friday.

In California you do need your original social security card presented prior to your first day at work at a new job. (LOL - I know this because we had to practically toss our entire house trying to find my son's social security card for his new job because they demanded it THAT DAY!)

I don't know about Arizona, but JA probably thought that was a good story to use as the reason she was at Travis's house because she has had what - a billion (?) jobs at various restaurants in California where she would have to present her card.

As for it being at Travis's house. That BS I don't buy.

In Iowa you need your actual card as well. However, I don't believe for a minute her card was in a box in Travis' garage. Just another lie for why she won't leave him alone!

About the Inside Edition interview...was this shown to the jury? If so, there is some tiny possibility that Nurmi is trying to get a mistrial due to the interview being procured by state action (the jailer) but IMO (1) that argument is a loser, and (2) he will have to answer why the heck he didn't bring it up pretrial.

I have not read this thread, but I have been keeping up somewhat with this trial. Today was the first day I watched from my computer....OH MY STARS!!!! This was pure torture. I cannot imagine ANYONE believing ANYTHING that comes from this girls mouth. If these jurors have sympathy for her I have lost all hope in the future of mankind. JA's attorney is so SLOW! What gives? Is he hoping to let all this sinl in or what. Must admit tho that I am hooked. Gotta watch the rest.

cutting the rope was the only reason a knife was handy in the bedroom/bathroom...

She remembers taking the rope, she remembers putting the knife in the dishwasher, she remembered to delete pix before doing the unremembered laundry. Why isn't this brain problem of hers some sort of "diminished capacity"? /sarcasm

The rope wasn't found at the crime scene. This was a big problem because the rope story was used to explain the presence of the knife in the bedroom. An obvious lie and confirmation that the knife belonged to Jodi all along.
