Good morning! As you know I was planning to be in court morning and afternoon today but had a little setback with the fever last night and so I'm going to miss the am session and rest some more and head down for the afternoon then Dr. drew at I think 7. Just don't think I can handle that long day right now. :(. Plus the am is usually just about an hr of testimony and will be that computer dude.
I'll let you know where I'm sitting when I'm in...I will be wearing a dark blue patterned top and black jacket.

Sorry to hear you are sick. I hope you feel better soon.

I might be able to believe Jodi recorded phone sex for less than nefarious intent were it not for the content. This just coincidentally records, presumably, in Travis' voice how she sounds like a 12 year old having her first orgasm.

With knowing what we know about those letters now it's just too big a leap to be a coincidence in my opinion. I believe Jodi had stealthily been compiling data on Travis for awhile - maybe for blackmail, but maybe just for power and control.

YAY!! my favorite TA pic!!!!![/QUOTE]

And I have heard all my life if you find a guy that loves his dog/cat and is good to them they will not be abusive to humans either.

IMO

and he had a pug....based upon my experience (have one snoring away under my feet)---they are a very stuborn breed and they are always right...they also are very similar to a cat-----and can be VERY frustrating...but that said they are also very entertaining

Does anyone know if Juan showed this clip to the jury?

If not, I think he should end his closing arguments with a side-by-side of the picture of Travis neck slashed while playing this video.

I'd sure love to see that shown to the jury as well. Although she does seem somewhat insane there and could garner some sympathy in terms of bald faced insanity. That is just crazy. "Say cheese"???

Wow!! What is the deal with her face? It looks like a silicone mask. Her complexion is so smooth and flawless. It is just not normal looking to me. jmo

mck, Some while back, some of us were speculating that this smooth countenance is due to having no worries, fears, because she doesn't have the 'normal' range of real human emotion.

Is there a YouTube link? I would love to re-see it when I need a giggle pick-me-up during the day

This is not his trial testimony, but something I affectionately have uploaded and named: VinnieVents! I love his vents and this one tickles me to the bone!
Enjoy!

and as she has confessed to her lawyers...not sure if she is still "technically innocent."

Here is the test for this:

-Has she signed a confession and plead guilty in court?
-Had she been determined as guilty unanimously by a jury of her peers?

If neither of the above, she is innocent in the eyes of the law. Once one of the above happens, she is guilty.

:twocents:

That and the fact that she usually wore a ton of makeup for her interviews.

And Russell Williams who really loved his cat?

I suppose these are the exceptions that prove the rule. In my life it has been true that those who treat animals well also treat people well.

That works for me....and then I remember Hitler and his beloved dog (or dogs) named Blondi. ugh

True, I'd forgotten about that. Hitler, another very unstable individual.

I am partial to this as well. My first dog ( baby ) 's name was Napoleon.

My thoughts on the smiling mug shot is that she smiled because someone put a camera to her face. These types don't feel normal fear even. Scott Peterson also smiled in one of his many mugshots. Then after reviewing this she came up with her list of "a few reasons" in hindsight, all of which are also bizarre and inappropriate , especially considering this defense she's flying now (which is why it'd be great for this jury to see it). All of this reeks of sociopathy to me.

Except for that guy in "Silence of the Lambs' who loved his moths but couldn't give a fig for women.

Take good care of yourself, Katiecoolady. We're rooting for ya! And thank you again for doing all you do. Can't say that enough.

Wow. That video. All I can say after watching that is that girl is NOT right. Something is flat out wrong with her. She certainly is sane, and certainly needs to be held responsible, but something is really malfunctioning up in her head.

I found it on youtube, fragile (is that Italian? TM "A Christmas Story :) )

It is trial day 10. Jodi Arias Murder Trial day 10. Part 1 - YouTube

I just started it and he's already creeped me. He's a silver ring holder, who makes 100,000 a year whether or not he gets out of bed.

Yuk.

But it does help give Jodi motive, IMO. She surely thought Travis was going to be getting richer and richer, and wanted to be a part of that lifestyle.

This defense is just making Jodi's case look worse and worse, according to me.
Thank you for finding it! And I love Christmas Story lol!
