I think that the ponytails were just part of her seduction to get him into a better position for murder. Since she came there to murder him, I don't think that blackmail or anything other than seeing him dead was on her mind.

If she often did her hair in pigtails around him then that's one thing. If she did it this one time I think it is like another poster said...maybe she thought it would minimize her hair shedding during the time she was in the house on June 4th.

I bet she had info/password and spied on his phone records via computer. My daughter did this with her ex boyfriend and I thought it was such a waste of time. She is still a nut case; I just ignore it cause I don't have time for that carp.

I was thinking the same thing. If JA admittedly had all of TA's passwords (including his ATM PIN for crying out loud) how can any of the texts etc. be admitted?

I would want to know how many opportunities Jodi had to text herself from his phone and sent messages to herself via his computer. I think in some respects she is very very smart. Somehow I think Jodi acquired this information by snooping; I don't think Travis gave it to her because I seem to remember somewhere it said he was mad that she hacked into something and went off on her about privacy. Like I said, she is very very smart.

I see nothing wrong with innocent flirting.

This is a casebook example of domestic violence homicide. The myth needs to be put to rest that males cannot be abused, psychologically, physically or sexually abused. It happened here in this case.imo.

How many times have we read about cases where the victim told someone else 'he is going to kill me' and it happened? Too many times. And how did they know? Because the abuse and violence was esculating just like in this case with Jodi slashing tires and stalking and winding up sneeking into his home and into his bed while he was sleeping.

Jodi Arias for whatever reason used sex as a tool to control the one she really wanted. Was it because she loved Travis? I highly doubt it. Psychopaths want ownership and dominance not love. After murdering him she goes onto another smuck coyly hoping she will be able to dominate him.

Maybe she knew Travis had never experienced some of the things she so willingly did and new experiences can and often are very exciting since all human beings respond to human touch. Imo she pulled out ever sex trick in the book. Thats all Jodi had and she used it trying to gain ownership of Travis but even the kinky sex didnt work for her and she had nothing more.

Many women and men have lost their good senses when raw sex comes into play. Women have even left very good husbands and their children behind to run to a very bad man that didnt care about her but just the sex. That is why the grass is greener on the other side of the fence because most of the time it is fertilized with nothing but BS. So some men and some women are alike in some aspects.

I understand Travis. I was like him and also a victim of domestic violence at one time by my ex. I shamefully admit, I did have sex with him when he demanded it. I hated it and I did it out of fear and the desperate need to appease a monster who would rage if I did not. It even continued after I moved out and had separated from him. I was just too fearful at that time to say 'no.' He too was stalking me. I knew at that time he was capable of anything. Near the end this was Travis's life with Jodi too imo. He had come across a situation with a dominant overbearing obsessive female who would not take 'no' for an answer no matter how many times he tried to tell her it was over and to leave him alone.

So True. Until you actually go through such a relationship-not reading about one, not watching someone else go through it, not taking classes but actually going through it-will people truly understand what such a relationship is like. Until someone does they really have no clue about the psychological holds one person can have over another. This happens to supposedly strong people (physically and emotionally), educated people, supposedly secure people....it does not discriminate. If you think it can't happen to you, that you'd never put yourself in that situation or ever put up with a situation like that....you may be surprised.

That said, I think everyone brings their own experience to the table. So it's no more "projecting" for, say, someone who's had friends with benefits to draw conclusions about the relationship at issue than it is for someone who's been in love and rejected by a user. EVERYONE is projecting their personal experience onto the situation and it's ALL instructive and valuable for discussion, imo.

The problem with bringing things from other forums like that is they are not verified thru WS. That is just how I see and take those things.

IMO, this trial is going to be very similar to the Casey Anthony trial. Defense will attempt to confuse, confuse, confuse with inconsequential details and "fluff". Which is what the sex stuff is. (To me the pigtails, etc. are unimportant. Not really much different than the cute little red teddy I purchased at Christmas with the Santa Claus fur.:blushing And I don't believe all the anal sex stuff - just her word for it. And so what, anyway - clearly he wasn't raping her.

It is actually quite simple. JA (similar to Casey Anthony) seemed to have no real life skills. (She was 30 or so, right?) She doesn't appear stupid but spends her time and energy on developing stalking skills. Smart like Casey Anthony in a weird twisted way. Only had the life skills to manipulate others.

She was a high school dropout. Her house was foreclosed on. She needed someone quickly. She found him in Travis. She was immediately "in love". (Sound familiar?) We've all known women like that. One date - in love. The guy can't escape and is quickly ensnared and isn't even sure how it happened. I don't think Travis was a bad guy. I think he wanted out and couldn't get out. And had no idea of her level of crazy. So many red flags! (Didn't this all happen rather quickly? Over 4 months or so?)

Luckily the evidence appears more solid than the Casey Anthony case. I hope the jury is a little more sensible and just looks at the evidence pertaining to the murder and remembers all that other "fluff" is irrelevant.
