YOU GUYS......

GERALDO RIVERA also said...

"CA & GA HAVE AGREED TO SUBMIT FINGERPRINTS TO EXCLUDE THEM FROM THE ONES ON THE TAPE"

Did he mean "IF" they're found on the tape? We just looked at each other and said uh-oh. No wonder the defense wants in there so bad.

SWEET.

Lie your way out of this one, KC.

Wait, they already have KC's from her arrests. So if they match, they match. Does this mean that someone else's prints are on the tape? Oh boy.

Though I hope they find prints, doesn't it seem a bit early to know that yet? I assume the prints would be on the duct tape, and the bag - which have been taken for examination. I would think it would be hard to see fingerprints with the naked eye - and I doubt they would want to disturb the tape until they had it on an examination table where everything could be recorded and processed. I bet they are hoping there will be usable prints, so they are asking for GA and CA's so if some are found, they can rule them out.

I sure hope we learn soon what was found at the scene.

Eeek! That is certainly the implication - if prints on tape matched KC they wouldn't need to exclude G&A UNLESS there is more than one set of prints... Would seem there are 1) no KC prints on the tape or 2) KCs prints are there as well as unknown print(s) on the tape.

Actually it doesnt take that long to pull prints for it.They use a special power. I watched it today on tv. It was quite amazing:)

I know it doesn't take long to retrieve prints...but it seems like it has still been too soon to process all the evidence and come to any conclusions yet. I could be wrong though. But it did sound to me after listening to Geraldo tonight that the A's provided their fingerprints pro-actively, meaning before they were asked or as soon as they were asked...so they could be ruled out as quickly as possible.

Did anyone else think the sight of Jose and his star defense team standing near the crime scene looked alot like the Justice League or something? LOL. All the "defenders of justice" standing for their 5 minutes on the air? I found it a ridiculous display myself.

*respectfully snipped*
It was a very strange sight to see the "scream team," as another poster put it, standing out there. I have no respect for them, for one because there is no money to pay them. This is all publicity imo.

I hope I am asking this question in the right thread- the thread did have Henry Lee on it. I want to know how the heck will Henry Lee be able to defend Casey if the bodys ID is Caylee, if her prints are on the tape and if she did do bodily harm to her? He cant get on the stand and lie- he has to tell the truth- so how will this pan out if theres no getting out of Casey doing it?

He is not defending her... he is not a lawyer. If he is called to testify it will be about his findings... nothing more and nothing less. It's not his job to determine who is guilty.

I agree. They all stood out there seemingly pleased with themselves and their collective "expertise". Henry Lee is the worst to me. He had a smirk to match Jose's today.

I just watched a fox vid and cracked up. The defense team was was down the block behind the tape. They weren't allowed any closer than the public was. A defense team demanding to be at the actual active crime scene is absurd. Saw LP leaning against a truck staring them down.

A good defense lawyer would have spent the time interviewing witnesses, hitting the lawbooks, sending material already received to credentialed defense experts with unassailable credibility, building a valid defense presentation, working on voir dire questions, jury selection points and jury instructions, working on possible extenuating circumstances or mitigation material, working these things into an outline of an opening and closing argument for both the case in chief and a possible sentencing phase and at the same time communicating politely with the prosecutor's office about various elements of a plea deal. He would be working with Casey to understand all the phases of a criminal trial and pointing out the advantages and disadvantages of the evidence and the elements of a plea deal. A good defense attorney just wouldn't have time to stand out in front of cameras having a "stare down" which is unproductive, can't do his client any good at all, could further motivate LE and the prosecution and could damage his client. A good lawyer would be so incredibly busy he wouldn't even know it is a holiday season. His only comment to the cameras would be, "We're working hard to provide Miss Anthony with the best defense we can possibly provide." A good defense attorney would never submit a motion without some legal points and authorities.

That's what it means. There could be Casey's prints AND somebody else's prints. If I recall correctly (IIRC) on the day Casey borrowed the shovel, June 18th, 2.6 days after the evening of June 15th when the Anthonys had the big fight, there was a guy in the car waiting for Casey. If Casey didn't have the physical strength to handle the body and bag, perhaps ... just sayin'.

and they did say that KC finger prints were not on the shovel but there was someone elses on there...not the owner either....If Im incorrect....sorry....but that is what I remember....anyone?

I definitely heard that it wasn't KC's..I don't remember hearing if they were or were not the owners though.

They took a lot of items from the home yesterday.Maybe they think they will link G or C to something else......something that shows a cover up.

One of my first thoughts upon seeing JB's antics out and about at the scene where the remains were found was---
He has completely destroyed any chance, however limited it already was, to make a plea deal on behalf of his client.

You just CANNOT constantly criticize the integrity of LE, on national TV,
and then expect the prosecution to offer up something sweet and tempting.

JB, I think, has no idea of the degree to which he is damaging his effectiveness with this unnecessary hostility and bad-mouthing.

Prosecution has to work with LE after this case is over. That is their foremost relationship and they are going to protect it.
Prosecution has the power to indicate their unhappiness with his behavior through their approaches relative to mercy, deals, plea bargaining and so forth.
All of this nonsense goes against Casey's best interests even as it is passed off as being zealous representation!
I know I have harped on this before. Sorry 'bout that.:blowkiss:

Well, if Casey's fingerprints were not on the shovel, then it means that she wasn't the one who took it back to the owner. I kind of doubt that whoever was with her would take the shovel back over to the owner.

This does not make sense to me at all. Why would this unknown person risk leaving his/her prints on the shovel?

I have heard 2 versions. In one version, the owner stated that he found the shovel had been returned to his front door. The second version was that Casey returned the shovel and that she had not been sweating at all and still had on the same clothes.

No proof - just what I remember!

Because the unknown person didn't know what was going on, and Casey's bus has a ton of room underneath.
It is not unusual for those who deal with a pathological liar to unknowingly participate in lying to others. They think they are telling the matter-of-fact- truth but reality is, they are lying.
Amy telling people that Caylee is with her nanny would be an example of that.
Amy is lying. Amy thinks she is telling the truth.
All sorts of things get skewed when a Casey personality is thrown in the mix.

I have been saying this all along too. Too bad JB wanted to break into the criminal defense area, he is his own worst enemy. I think that JB thinks he will win this one on a technicality and get the $$$ cases (not going to happen when you tick everyone off and question their professional intergrity without any foundation for the questioning). Or he thinks he will get a t.v. show like that Judge in the Anna Nicole case. JB is not all there, or just dumb as bag of hammers!
