I wonder if the State will try to impeach Dr HL after the Judge spoke so highly of him today.

Exactly WHAT did the Judge say?
I would be interested to know as well. I don't recall Judge P making any comments about HL.

NTS: I missed the hearing, could you elaborate where His Honor's statement regarding Henry Lee Ph. D. is located? I'd like to replay it for my staff.

Well there is no transcript that I know of yet, so how could I provide a link other than wftv and listen to the whole day. I think the comments are later and not at first. He was essentially saying the he felt that Hl could handle it.
I think they would have a tough time impeaching Hl and it could backfire on them. At any rate even if they find another expert he can still use Hl's findings and expertise.
Could you answer my question why High levels of chloroform kill humans and not flies? thanks
Chloroform evaporates quickly and in its concentrated gaseous form, it will tend to settle to the ground before dispersing. http://www.scorecard.org/chemical-profiles/html/chloroform.html
At least we now know after much speculation that HL left after examining the car, that he is still with the defense.
The only thing I remember Judge Perry saying about Dr. Lee was - was Baez sure Dr. Lee was not qualified to discuss the death band on the hair - and again Baez said not qualified, he would need another expert for that.
I didn't hear any praise.
And JP told JB to be careful quoting that HL was not qualified to testify as to the death band on the hair because that comment would come back at him later. Does anyone know if JB had HL examine the death band hair. And doesnt that mean that HL cannot testify about the hairs he supposedly found in the garbage bag from KC's truck since per JBs own words HL is not qualified to tell whether something has a death band or not. I think JB shot himself in the foot with that comment.
Because the unknown person didn't know what was going on, and Casey's bus has a ton of room underneath.
It is not unusual for those who deal with a pathological liar to unknowingly participate in lying to others. They think they are telling the matter-of-fact- truth but reality is, they are lying.
Amy telling people that Caylee is with her nanny would be an example of that.
Amy is lying. Amy thinks she is telling the truth.
All sorts of things get skewed when a Casey personality is thrown in the mix.

I am not a chemist but I will give it a try:
The trunk liner was tested and chloroform was found. Pieces from the spare tire cover were used for the air samples. Since chloroform settles to the ground this is where it was concentrated. The few bugs that were found on the trunk carpet were dead. When a deceased Caylee was decomposing on the carpet the enclosed trunk kept the initial fauna away and from responding. Later when she was placed in the plastic trash bags this provided an enclosed environment away from the source of the choroform. So when the coffin flies flew in and hatched eggs in the bags they were wrapped in a safe haven.
I am sure all will be explained during the trial and like today's hearing the judge will keep things running efficiently. Maybe the prosecution will use Lee to help them when they cross examine him.
The trunk liner was tested via air sample not ground sample. It makes no sense.
Okay, so some believe that she lay in the trunk before she was alledgedly put into bags? I am trying to figure out where some posters are going with this? Are posters saying Caylee died from Chloroform in the trunk but out of the bag and then was placed in a bag that protected the flies from the chloroform?
Where is it said that Caylee was ever in any bag? I know they found a couple small footbones within the bags (which does not mean inside the bags), but where is there a report from the crime scene that Caylee was ever in a bag or bags? And you are very good at finding documents, perhaps the best ever, so also could you find an official report that says she was "thrown" into the woods?
I am not sure Hl is going to testify, so possible no cross examination. They may find an expert that can study Hl's findings. Hl takes a lot of pictures, he holds up well under cross. IMO
Lee and Baez read your thread. Here is their response.I hope Henry Lee isn't on the case by trial time. I think he has dementia or something. Some of the things he has pulled says to me that he is no longer playing with a full deck.
