Good points. Also:

The agents asked whether Duggar is familiar with peer-to-peer networks. Duggar said he was and that he had used these networks on all three of his devices.

Watch him try hard to play dumb now. It is my opinion, based on what I heard on a podcast, from someone who allegedly was friends with him at the time he was molesting his victims, he definitely had a huge interest in hiding materials on computers. I wonder if anyone on the witness list can testify as to that, to bolster what LE has stated are his own self-incriminatory statements.

I’m only a few years older but my high school nickname was “Grandma” so I feel I belong to a older demographic on the tech/cool kid fronts. I don’t have Tor but I knew 10+ years ago that I could access clear instructions within seconds.

I’m also reminded of the theory that extremely strict parenting has a tendency to create kids who are extremely good at sneaking around (for both good and bad purposes).

ETA: I would be surprised if there are NOT tons of sites/threads devoted to bypassing software like CovenantEyes.

JMO.

OMG, that software. Who is going to check up on that with 6-7 babies and an expectation to put out whenever? If a grown adult needs a baby sitter, he isn't really grown.

Poor Anna. No matter what happened with legal 🤬🤬🤬🤬, it would be all her fault for not being sweet enough, not being an alert accountability partner, or both.

I like to think she got the last laugh, naming numero siete, but that's just my imagination.

At age 14 he was helping in a political election campaign and was downloading 🤬🤬🤬🤬 from a computer in the election headquarters. The guy running for office said he would blame Josh if he lost, something to that effect. Everyone knew what Josh was trying to pull.

It was Governor Mike Huckabee's re-election incumbent race. In November 2002, Mike Huckabee was re-elected to his second four-year term.

Point is, yes! He knew his way around computers.

Can't find the article so just my 2 Cents.

So basically, they can show that no employee was working there on those days? Just Josh? Awesome.

Or else they deliberately withheld them to obstruct the investigation? What can I say, I'm not normally one for conspiracy theories, but given Jim Bob's convenient memory losses on stand and subpoena avoidance tactics, my mind sure did go there.

Sadly, denial is incredibly powerful. Especially when the truth is absolutely evil.

God bless the investigators and jury. I’m not sure I’d ever be the same if I had to see those photos.

  • Jurors in Josh Duggar's child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 trial heard Thursday that his work computer had software that would stop his wife being alerted when he looked at 🤬🤬🤬🤬
  • The court heard the couple in 2013 subscribed to a service called Covenant Eyes that monitors adult internet use and would report material to Anna Duggar
  • The company's technology vice president Jeff Wofford testified that Duggar's report sensitivity was set to 'mature teen' - apparently common among clients
  • But prosecutors revealed Duggar's HP computer at his car dealership had a sophisticated software called a Linux partition that created a secret workspace
  • Wofford said the software could circumvent the 🤬🤬🤬🤬-monitoring program which would've only worked with Windows operating system on the regular side
  • It was behind that partition that federal agents found Duggar's stash of child 🤬🤬🤬🤬, prosecutors have argued this week

Story also inquired about the logistics of the office, including a password to the electronic door lock and the HP computer. Waller stated that an “Intel1988” password sounded “faintly familiar.”

This piece of information brought out a vocal reaction from Roberts on cross-direct.

“You were hiding something from me, weren’t you?” he asked immediately. “You didn’t tell me a word about Intel1988.”

Waller reiterated that it “sounded faintly familiar” but that he “couldn’t place it for sure.”

Roberts continued pressing Waller by asking if the password in question could have been for Duggar’s personal bank account instead of a computer. Waller was unsure.

Visibly frustrated, Roberts concluded his questioning.

Each side took advantage of their opportunities to redirect and ask more questions. Story’s questions led Waller to admit that he had a difficult time telling the difference between the prosecution and defense attorneys.

Roberts raised his voice again in an additional redirect of Waller.

“Were you hiding it from me?” Roberts asked about the password. “You just didn’t think to tell us?”

Finally, Roberts told Waller, “The defense told you information you didn’t otherwise remember.” Waller agreed that this was true.

“We can only beat this horse so many times,” the judge interjected as the two sides continued taking turns asking questions of Waller. Eventually, he was excused.

Isn't this witness coaching?

Josh Duggar child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 trial will include testimony from siblings Jill & Jed

This link is synopsis of Day Two, 12/02/2021

So, "Matthew Waller" is married to Anna's sister, and was working at the car lot until 4/30/2019, and was at the car lot in May.

INMO, this witness didn't have a lot for the prosecution, more of a "red herring" for the defense.

Josh is not the only one who was around, just throwing in other potential CSAM Downloaders.

My opinion is that this really didn't add anything to help Josh. And may be damaging. I hope that there are not more "I was there and knew password" witnesses. It seems to be blatant misdirection (carefully not calling out people for being untruthful under oath).

I really hope counseling is offered to the jurors

After specific images and videos of child sexual abuse material were described, and some shown to the jury, court ended for the day

Josh Duggar accused of downloading videos

How could that holier than thou family sit there and support this monster. I hope that his children have been questioned by child interrogation experts.

Yes, something about "Sin in the camp" IIRC. JMO.

I sincerely hope Josh is convicted and sentenced to the maximum 40 years and has that smirk wiped right off his smarmy face.
