I hope so but it is doubtful. I saw bits and pieces of the C Anthony trial but can remember, did she testify?

No she didn't. She would have been fed to the wolves if she did and she and her attorney's new it.:moo:

Maybe he didn't go into Home Depot because he didn't need anything

Yes, I agree that's why SHE went in the store, because he told her to. HE had previously gone inside of Tim Hortons while she stayed in the car with Tori, so why did he stay with Tori while she went in HD? SHE would be on surveillance buying the murder weapon. Maybe he was also worried that she would let Tori go if he left the car again and stayed to be sure his 'prize' wasn't going anywhere. JMO

I can't remember, but was Timmy's in Woodstock or Guelph?

I have been (w)racking my brain trying to figure out WTH she could say she needed in HD. A hammer and garbage bags seem reasonable considering the state of the home she was living in. IMO, she could have said, "Hey, do you mind if I dash in and pick up a few things so I can get some work done on the house my Mom and I are living in, we would love to have you over for Easter". It looks like from the pictures of her bedroom, she seems to care how her room looked. Perhaps she told him she wanted to fix up the other areas of the house by hanging a few photos and taking away some trash. Could have sounded convincing to him. I am just going with a theory that MTR may have thought TLM was babysitting the little girl up until the point where she used the bags and hammer to kill her, bag and hammer details she confessed to in court. I do not have an answer as to why, if this scenario is true, he did not go immediately to the police (do not pass GO) once he dropped her off. Just noodling a few thoughts here because after the latest details from TLM, I am having some trouble regrouping.

or........the battery was NEVER reomoved from the phone. She SAYS it was to illustrate consciousness of guilt. To implicate him as participant.

Luckily LE has the records for his phone that day so I am sure they will be able to show that his phone didn't ping near any towers where they know he was, ATM machine, friends house where he bought drugs etc. I'm sure they will be able to show that he did take his battery out. I'm wondering if he thought the phone would only ping if he made or received a call, perhaps he thought it was safe to check his voice mail.:moo:

He supposedly withdrew the money so did he give her the cash to purchase the items to possibly fix up her house? TLM's testimony lacks a key detail and that's when, and by whom, the garbage bags and hammer were taken out of the trunk. If she walked away from the car, as she states, then did she go back to it, hit the trunk release latch or take the keys to get the items?

I wonder what TLM bought at Pawntario (pawn shop) the day she met MR at the pizza place. It was 2 purchases after the pizza , as shown in the pic of her transactions in the link below. Also, wasn't there a bust at that pawn shop shortly after her arrest????

Whose shoes are shown as evidence #'s 2026 and 2027, and why has one shoe been turned over and the bottom photographed (2026)? That's a distinctive pattern on the sole.

We only heard her side so far (that is what she said but keep in mind she paid for the stay at the Super 8 so she has cash of her own too) and her story has changed quite drastically. Maybe he picked up more money because he gave all he had to BA and still needed to buy TLM and TS some dinner IDK. I would love to see the entire Statement of Facts, not the edited version released to the media from when she pled gulity because IMO, I think some things have changed since then.

Yes, we did see that she put her purchases from HD into the trunk and it looked like she did not insert a key to open the trunk which leads me to believe that there is a trunk release some where in the car (as with most later model types). Hell mine is a 1999 and it even has a truck release in the vehicle itself, meaning that the key does not have to be in the ignition in order to "pop" the truck. Unlatching the trunk from inside the car is IMO what she did. What MTR was doing at the time is anyone's guess at this point. He could have been sitting with a kid he thought TLM was babysitting waiting for her mother to call and say she was home and Tori could now come home. We have not heard his side of the story and we do not know if he was even there for sure 100% at this point.

These are the only Tweets I have about that, but the timing of the retrieval of the garbage bags isn't made very clear.

McClintic says she got the garbage bags from the trunk of the car and put them in the back seat.

McClintic testifies a garbage bag was placed on Tori's head after she took the box of bags out of the trunk. #Rafferty @CTVLondon

I was just reading an old post about this, it stated that he was 1st questioned during a door to door search a day or so after april 8th, then questioned again may 19th, the day of his arrest.

There was also a quote that stated LE was watching him for a week prior to his arrest.

I can fully understand the watching him prior to his arrest FF. But I have never heard about him being questioned during the door to door serach. Do you have a link, if not that's okay too :)

Thanks AG- somehow I missed all those tweets and didn't recall reading the info in any articles.

Renton refused to explain why there was a gap of about a week from when police knew about the male suspect to when he was arrested, saying that information was part of the case.

Im still searching for the post on the door to door search...

You're welcome. These were recorded after TLM testified she was kicking Tori on the ground, but even that doesn't mean much, as some of the reporters were slower than others in submitting their Tweets. RR from LFP doesn't mention the kicking at all. So, the actual sequence of events can be muddled at times.

Details like this may be important to us, but apparently not so much to the media. It must be difficult to listen and Tweet at the same time without missing stuff.

I noticed that too FF. I am not sure how pawnshops do business. Anyone here able to clarify what happens if you "sell" an item to a pawnshop and how long they are legally "required to hold it", if they are at all, until you come back with the money to get it back. I did hear about a pawnshop bust in that general area a long time ago but never put the two together until now.

IRT the pizza purchases, perhaps TLM might be able to use a the "Gluten or Lactose Intolerant" in place of the "Twinkie" defense, just kidding!!

The cops came to my door too, and my parents, our entire neighbourhood in fact, there was no search, more like canvassing the area, they handed out missing flyers and asked people if they had noticed anything suspicious in their yards lately, that's it.
