Duh, I think I figured it out. The witnesses on the autopsy report are the witnesses at the autopsy? So would that make Bob Diehl the original investigating officer?

That's what I was thinking it might be. What we do know is that Hardy was never at the scene of the death, nor at the autopsy, he was not the investigating officer, and I don't actually think he was physically at the Coroner's Jury hearing. I think his report was simply a written report that was presented to the jury.

I would love to get my hands on the Coroner's Jury documents!

Do you remember why the original agent, whoever that was, was replaced? Was it a "vacation"?

I don't know if I ever knew. I am no help on that one.

Ah Ha...........I found everyone! :) I wondered why no one was discussing Greta's program tonight and Mark Fuhrman's new information! :) I posted to the thread on Stacy and saw no discussion there on the program.

Mark Fuhrman is bringing details in with the new information that dovetail with what is known. I think Kathleen Savio's murder is coming together thanks to the sleuthing of Mark. Although the pastor's information can't be used in a trial because it's hearsay, if the cell phone records are found and show numerous calls to DP's cell phone that night, that blows DP's alibi completely.

I have nothing but contempt for DP! He's a sick, twisted, sorry excuse for a human being. He's a dirty cop and had to have help from his fellow police officers and other crooked cops to cover up the murder. I can't believe the investigating officers were so inept that they didn't get the telephone records. This was clearly suppression of evidence, and they did very little to investigate. Having a police officer who wasn't present at the crime scene or autopsy testify, and having a police officer on the coroner's jury all smacks of cover up.

My goodness - that is the best picture I've seen of Kathleen! She's so pretty and such a nice smile. I just want to give her a hug. :innocent:

Leila: I don't know about everyone else, but I have so much holiday stuff going on at my house, that I can't keep up with everything. I meant to watch Greta but I was out shopping instead. I'll run over and read what you posted - it sounds so interesting! :)

Interesting that Drew took the nightstands and bed from Kathleen's house and now one of the nightstands is missing. Could it be that nightstand wasn't part of Stacy's murder but had been part of Kathleen's? And maybe the cadaver dog hitting on the death scent in Drew and Stacy's bedroom was actually picking up the scent from Kathleen's death..maybe the dog hit where the nightstand should have been. Maybe Drew took it apart in the garage, then placed the nightstand in Stacy's car to take to a dump or some other location ( the retaining pond at the airport?) and that is why the dog hit on Stacy's car and the retention pond..because of Kathleen's death scent?

That would be so ironic if what trips Drew up in Stacy's murder is his getting rid of old evidence from Kathleen's murder. Drew's a cop he would know he had to get rid of that too because if they brought in dogs and luminol they might get a postive on the nightstand from Kathleen's.

Have you seen the latest story about the canal search/telephone pinging? http://www.suburbanchicagonews.com/napervillesun/news/698356,4_1_JO15_PETERSON_S1.article

In this article, a "police source" sounds awfully hostile to the case, and I don't mean towards Drew, either. quotes from this "source":
"Why didn't that come out the first day?" he said of the alleged August [gun] incident. "Now it's like they're just making stuff up."
" and

The law enforcement source went on to dismiss reports of police searching for rectangular blue containers supposedly missing from the Peterson's home.
"I'm not (looking for them)," the source said. "Nobody else seems to be."

It would be interesting to find out who this source is. Could be someone who has helped or is helping Drew.

If it turns out there were cell phone calls to Drew, who is going to testify where they were made from?

Wow..that source is hostile towards Stacy's side in this. Cassandra did tell BBPD about the gun incident the same time that she reported her sister missing. According to the chief that is part of the internal investigation about Drew.

I believe that same source was talking (negatively) back when they originally started searching that area of the canal. Interesting....

You don't think the "source" is his son, Steve, do you?

The phone calls would indicate on the cell phone records that they were most likely made from the home phone.

Mark said that Stacy woke up in the middle of the night and looked all over the house and couldn't find DP. She then made several calls to his cell phone, which went directly to voice mail.

kpass, I actually think that juror may have been on Greta's show in the beginning of this case. He was an elderly gentleman. I'm surprised we haven't seen more of them.

Wasn't there also a FOD on that jury? ("Friend Of Drew")

Wasn't the jurors name Walter? Heck if I can remember. Anyways, he said that a LE officer friend of Drews was on the panel and spoke so favorably about Drew that it swayed his vote and probably the votes of other jurors as well.
