Found Deceased KS - Lucas Hernandez, 5, Wichita, 17 Feb 2018 #9 *Arrest*

Paddleboarder stated he had been sick for close to two weeks before he went missing. EG two sons were over on the 11th and Lucas was outside with the boys at that time. The 11th would be right in the middle of that two weeks. So he was well enough at that point to be up and about. Did he get sicker after the 11th and maybe she gave him some medication to help with his symptoms but gave him too much?

Had a thought this am and not sure that it would help but I’m a think outside of the box type of person. I’d be happy to put together a flyer specific to land owners to look on properties. Maybe distribute to the feed stores, the Atwood’s in Andover and places like that. If anyone thinks that’d be helpful let me know and I’ll throw it together. I can post it here and can be distributed on SM for a larger target audience. If you think this would be helpful please let me know and I’ll take care of it. I wouldn’t mind reaching out to those stores to see if they would post as well. Just let me know.

And possibly gave some of his Rx to the baby? Maybe the daughter was getting sick too? Would giving unprescribed medicine be enough for the child endangerment charges she is facing regarding the baby?? (This is assuming Lucas had Rx med, which we don't know.) Speculation, pondering aloud.

Okay, the public property thing makes sense, vs. personal property. I can see that.

You know, if I were in a situation, I'm sure I'd be thankful for these "laws" to cover my butt (in the case that I DIDN'T do anything wrong) but right now, they just make me angry. Waterboarding, plucking toenails, I'm okay with downright torture in this scenario. And I don't feel bad about it.

I was working on my master’s in social work and the program requires MSW students to do a practicum in the social work field. The number of hours required vary but I put in 20hrs per week at SRS for mine. I was fortunate to be exposed to every step of the process, but it quickly became very clear that protecting parents rights are top priority by default. I was very quickly cured of ever wanting to finish my MSW, so I switched programs and got my MBA instead.

Yes, giving children medication not subscribed to them is considered medical neglect. When drug exposed babies are born, they are quite often removed at least temporarily from the parents and placed in foster care. I can remember several times we were called to the hospital when a woman would be high and in labor at the same time. It was a horrible experience each and every time.

My apologies if this area has already been discussed, I’m in MD so it’s hard to follow all of the areas and maps being discussed here.

Relating to the idea that perhaps they were at someone’s house that Friday evening, has South Wichita been in the discussion at all for search locations. Without giving the exact address of the location that came to mind, I’m looking at areas just west of S. Seneca St, say between W. MacArthur & W 47th. Anyone have any info on that area?
