I have always thought this happened at night. I think with what little EG has said, you have to take everything she says as very purposeful. The pull-up detail to me has been because she knows Lucas will be found wearing one. And since most kids only use those at night, she has to explain it before its discovered.
<snipped by me>
Because they normally put a pull up on him when he sleeps?
When my son was young he slept so hard we would wake him up in the middle of the night to take him to the bathroom. He never ever remembered! Now he does it with his own son who is 7. If he or we didn't feel we could get him up we might have put him in pull ups. We never did as we were and are diligent about this with him, but I'm just saying I don't find this so alarming. What I do find alarming is her need to point this out. It for some reason stood out as a put down to me. I can't quite put my finger on it but I recall feeling odd towards EG in regards to his diaper.
Yes, this scenario is something I've thought about as well - that he passed away due to her neglect while he was sick and that he was gone for awhile before she noticed. The "long nap" was, perhaps, the time he was gone before she realized it. I think your idea is a strong possibility. Speculation only.
Maybe the pull-up was full when she discovered him, and that fact weighs on her so she keeps mentioning the pull-up. Again, speculation.

I looked at that bridge over four mile creek last week. Its very busy right there during the day, but I dont know what its like at night. We got out and looked, but it wasnt easy to park safely.
:tantrum:03/05/18 -- Texas EquuSearch will be TEMPORARILY suspending its search for Lucas Hernandez, but we will be returning in the VERY near future. We have been given some credible information on one of our other cases, and we need to act on this to try and bring another family closure. Again, we will be returning to continue our search for Lucas in the VERY near future. Please keep Lucas, his family and loved ones in your prayers.

Does she keep mentioning the pull up? For whatever reason, it was part of her original description. Probably because it was true and completely insignificant to her.
It was literally the 4th post here that questions why the missing 5 year old was wearing "a diaper". If you all pinged on it, others did too. So, at her first opportunity, she's responding to what she sees as unfair criticism. (Did she circle around back to the pull up in the interview? I should double check.)
The other thing she seemed to be addressing in her one interview was abuse allegations. Lucas's extended paternal family brought previous abuse allegations to light within a couple of days.

This is old news to her that she successfully explained away at least once. In her mind she may be referencing very specific incidents with her "falls could be" comments.
How is EG getting her info? Was she monitoring SM from home for a couple of days and only going off of that info for her local news spot? Was she surfing the net from the clinic pod in jail? Does she have anyone in her court to keep her abreast of new developments? Is she fixating on the pull up because the internet did first?
I think it is a case of her not realizing neglectful behavior was neglect. It just didn't occur to her that Lucas in a pull-up would seem odd.
I’m just wondering if anyone else in the household had the ‘stomach bug’ or just Lucas? This line of thinking would lead to a premeditated situation wherein someone was being slowly poisoned before death occurred. In which case the perpetrator would definitely need to dispose of the body and stretching that line of thinking even further the disposal would be planned out in advance. I’m just letting my mind wander here so it’s not really even an opinion that this is a possibility. Thoughts?
What is the fathers position? Does he have an opinion about what happen to Lucas?
She likely did monitor SM for the first few days - and some locals who knew who she was might even have contacted her. Who knows? Also, the LEO who interviewed her might have questioned the pull-up too, just like they would question any detail. So, she probably caught on that the pull-up was getting attention.

Sure...RMT has been on Harry this morning and is going down Pawnee and south Andover later today.Henry, Im quoting myself here, but I just realized it actually might have been Pawnee and fourmile. So treat both areas like they havent been searched since I cant remember which one I was at.
Thank you so much! You might think about sending stuff to construction companies, utilities and landscape companies as well. I could give you a list of suggestions.

My apologies if this area has already been discussed, Im in MD so its hard to follow all of the areas and maps being discussed here.
Relating to the idea that perhaps they were at someones house that Friday evening, has South Wichita been in the discussion at all for search locations. Without giving the exact address of the location that came to mind, Im looking at areas just west of S. Seneca St, say between W. MacArthur & W 47th. Anyone have any info on that area?

Good morning. I am very familiar with south Wichita, including that square mile mentioned. Please let me know what questions you have. They are heavily trafficked areas during the day. Late at night, especially on a weekend, you will still have a spattering of vehicles. Houses are close together. Most commercial areas are gated. It is pretty common to see police on routine patrol.
