They probably should just go ahead and meet up at Iroquois park since there’s a TON of parking available over there. It’s also still dark until around 715ish am so hopefully they don’t walk into any of the wooded areas until they can actually see. I wouldn’t want to get lost in the dark out there, especially around the park area, if they end up even searching that part of new cut road.
Is there a race track there? Or a Race track store? Or is it a rd named Race track.
MOO was race track mentioned?

There are definitely a lot of cams up and down poplar level, there are a lot of businesses up and down the road. I think sometimes people take signs down just to be jerks. It happened with the signs for Crystal Rogers too. Or, it’s also possible it’s a friend of hers or something who is helping her hide out. That’s still my hope for how this ends.

I also saw the info for tomorrow’s search. It looks like they’re hoping to get at least 100 people. I think I saw where they’re starting at 530am. It’s probably going to be difficult to get a lot of volunteers that early on a work day. Maybe they’ll be out all day and people will be able to trickle in throughout the day as they get off work or whatever. They’re also meeting off old 3rd street, which is near where a woman claimed to see her. Maybe they chose that location off of her tip.

I don't mean to be insensitive, but why would 100 people be searching for Andrea? Most searches unfortunately are looking to find a body. In this case, I haven't seen evidence of foul play, or a motive for foul play. There have been alleged sightings of Andrea, these may be real or false, of course. But what are they looking for? This disappearance has been confusing...

I couldn’t agree more. I could understand needing a lot of people if they were searching a wooded area for someone who isn’t alive. 100 people walking up and down new cut seems a bit excessive. I don’t think they’re going to get anywhere near that number though, at that time of a day, on a Wednesday.

Hmmm I’m not sure. I’d have to see what you’re referring to. Churchill downs is farther north after new cut rd turns into Taylor blvd. It’s quite a ways down though.

Speedway is a convenience store franchise chain that operates across several states.

Yeh I watched the video and it sounds like they’re meeting at the speedway, and then being instructed to go to another spot where they’re searching. In the vid, Nancy suggests people wear pants, walking shoes and a hat if possible bc they’re going to searching in heavily wooded area. That statement makes me wonder if maybe they really are going to search through part of the park. It’s a big place, lots of hills and trees.

What park? The Speedway is on the other side of the airport (West of it) and a few miles from Audubon Park.

Thank you.
Hope these searchers are given a safety class and stay safe.
I guess the early 5:30 MOO
Would be a meeting of update of case and location grid groups.
For all information needed to obtain a safe and productive search.
This case is really different. Wonder if family members searching?
Do any homeless humans or activity of crime happen in this park?
Or just a beautiful hiking park?

Oh my bad. I’m thinking Iroquois park. It’s right up the road. It’s huuuuuge. It’s all woods between new cut rd and Dixie hwy, depending on the direction.

Jefferson memorial forest is also near there but I can’t imagine anyone trying to search out there in the dark. People get lost in that during daylight.

Hey all, new here but following this case religiously.
The search is most likely iroquois park area since she was possibly seen by several ppl yesterday in that area.
As I understand it, it's a known area for drugs as well.
I also understand the importance of 530am search but I could only speculate as why.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there are small homeless camps out there in the woods. It would prob be on the outer parts bc they have patrols out at night. It used to be a really rough park, definitely not somewhere you’d want to be when it was dark. It’s gotten a lot better over the years. It’s on a big hill and there’s this cool little trail that takes you to the top, it’s called the lookout and you can see downtown and all of that around there. There’s a loop around the park that you can walk, bike, or drive around. It’s about 3.5 miles and there are some other roads off the loop that take you to residential areas.

There’s also a golf course and actual park stuff like play areas, courts, and a splash pad in the main part of the park, near the auditorium. There’s also some houses in parts of it and some riding stables. From the live video I watched, Nancy said they specifically wanted to search while it was that early before the sun came up.

Eh, all of Louisville is known for drugs now lol. It’s gotten bad. It does sound like they’re actually searching the park area and not just new cut rd

They could be dividing up the group.. some searching new cut and palatka.. the spots where she was possibly seen and then also iroquois park.
I've only been to iroquois a handful of times and didn't come close to going thru it all. I've always been told to not go there alone.

@Grneyz0
For your local info.
Will you be apart of the search?
I am glad you finally posted.
What is your opinion on Andrea missing.
I really hope tomorrow is productive and hope you continue to post.

Thanks @Steph8angels. Unfortunately, I cannot go search. I actually live an hour away and I have 2 small kids. I used to live in Louisville years ago and work there. I know the Audubon park area well too.
As far as her disappearance, at first, I, along with many others thought she was a runaway. However, I'm thinking it's deeper than that.

I really hope they find her alive and well!
