@Steph8angels if she went missing at in the early morning of the 13th why did her family and these trusted people not start posting or making the public aware of her disappearance until the 18th?
I do not have any answers, I too have that question. I can only guess you just do not wake up and think your grown daughter is missing and maybe due to her age and the circumstances they waited for some undisclosed reason.
I do hope we have this answer soon.
Along with so many other answers that we could do a accurate timeline.
I am dumbfounded by this at the moment.

If she has custody of her kids, then that’s all the more reason to worry right away and get her pictures/story out to the public. Jmo

I don’t know what to think at this point. :(

Nothing on social media we can use yet as no MSM or LE updates. Just all speculation.
I do agree but I believe all families try to not show dirty laundry so too speak of their missing loved one. Once out there in internet space it never goes away.
So we may never know. But at this point in the days missing. I would get local coverage and spill everything if it would bring her home.
However I think a lot of people are advising family. And I would think more than likely Andrea parents are in charge now. JMO

The Finding Andrea FB page is back up with a pinned post at the top explaining some new rules and guidelines. I hope the family has separated themselves from the Missing in America group because that seemed to come with a lot of unnecessary drama.

DBM because apparently I can't read :D

I saw it briefly and it just made no sense. Incomplete sentences and pretty much gibberish. Maybe someone else can be more specific.

ETA This was a reply to Gardenista. WS is really acting up for me!

When reading about the possibility of AK being hospitalized (psyche or other) then it's likely LE would (after investigating and legally obtaining medical info) make a brief announcement stating this (ie She's okay/safe, receiving help, and prefers no contact with family nor friends at the moment.)

But, LMPD has (in the past, in somewhat similar cases) been very, very quiet or made only minimal statements. However, I really think this is the least they could do IF it was the actually the situation.

I hope this post makes sense!

I do know MOO that in cases also the patient is ask to sign a person to notify and sign a Hippa form allowing named person a Codeword to speak to patients doctors and or medical staff.
However we have no evidence other than hear-say off social media from unreliable source that would fit WS TOS.
I WISH WE DID AND TODAY THE TRUTH IS SPOKEN.

Missing Mom Facebook page taken down temporarily after troll harassment

Leonard said such harassment is the reason the “Finding Andrea” page went down for a few days, but is now back up with rules for followers. An investigator with Confidential Investigative Agency LLC, in Louisville, Leonard is also a friend of Knabel’s. Crews have scoured neighborhoods, and hundreds of fliers have gone out in the search, stirring up massive interest around the Commonwealth. Leonard said speculation trolls may have targeted Knabel’s family because she was last seen leaving a family member’s home.

“A lot of this speculation hinders an investigation when people don’t have facts,” he said.

After the Facebook page went down, people went to the Missing in America page, an organization for which Knabel volunteered. They started asking, “Has she been found? What’s going on?”

Then came a Facebook post from Thomas Smith, a man once married to Missing in America searcher Nancy Ann Schaefer. Smith said Danville police searched his home for Knabel, the maid of honor at his and Schaefer’s wedding.

“Danville police went to that residence and they simply just asked to search his residence,” Leonard said, adding that it was just another tip that didn’t pan out. Now?

What did it say?
It was something about needing people at the last minute but was full of typos, incorrect grammar and words that didn’t make sense together

Finding Andrea

ITA. Some groups should not be involved in missing person cases.

Is it typical for LE to go to the residences of the husbands (they are still legally married) of people who run scams to “help find missing persons”? Super curious about the details of the “tip”.

Also, the Finding Andrea page went down AFTER the mans Facebook post, once people started to comment on the Find Andrea page questioning what was going on in regards to this guys arrest and his connection to Andrea and NS. To which NS replied aggressively and rudely, as per usual.

It sure does seem like law enforcement is putting some effort in investigating the people connected to that group.
