That 'Continue Watching?' is driving me nuts. I just got another and then goes live right to the white noise from he11. :banghead:

Did the ME say that the dirt on Trey's back was from someone's foot holding the body down? I remember reading that a shoe print was found on his lower back?

I don't recall this witness saying anything about a foot holding the victim down. She did say he was knocked down and stayed down.

Neither medical examiner believes a baseball bat was used to kill Trey. Yet some witnesses say they saw or heard about a bloody bat.

Defense asking witness again about saying that she could not say for sure how many people attacked the victim.

Noise and questions from the jury.......

Trey's grandmother said it was a shoe print on one of the HLN shows...

Medical examiner said after police told her bat might have been used, she factored that in and decided it could have caused head injury

Well, there goes Cassie's story. Back on the fence. :fence:

Thanks Agatha! I wonder what witness is supposed to bring that evidence in? I thought, for sure, it would be the ME after none of the Police at the scene mentioned it.

Jury questions: Did Trey lose consciousness? Not certain. Did try to defend self? No evidence of that. How long lived after blows? Sev mins

Jason Riley ‏@jasonrileyCJ 1m

How long could he have lived? Several minutes. Less than an hour. Not conscious during death.
Woot or metal weapon used? Can't tell

Beckham dismissed. Going on a break for 15 minutes.

So a bat could have been used then. Did we get a Time of Death in there anywhere?

Awake maybe seven minutes??? Man that is an eternity! I thought Trey was unconscious after being sucker punched in the face? Seven minutes? While he's face down in the mud and can't breathe? Is that even possible? Seven minutes without air?

I hope he wasn't awake. How awful for him and for the people who loved him to think about that torture to him.

I must have missed something. What was I supposed to come up with?

I think the seven might have been a mishearing of several minutes. I don't see how an ME would pinpoint seven minutes if she didn't even know if he was conscious or not.

  • #199
Was it several or seven minutes? Easy enough boo boo. Believe me I've done much worse with what I thought I heard someone say.

Not that I caught.....there was food in his stomch that was eaten an hour or two before death......but there is conflicting info on when he ate last. The picnic was over by 7:30 Or 8:30 (the time when the bunch was at John and Cassies watching a movie). But Amanda had put up a plate for big Josh which the victim consumed, but we do not know at what time he consumed it. The witness who slept on Amanda's couch says she saw no one after she laid down on the couch, so when did the victim eat last?
