Yes, I believe that she would about that because if I recall correctly, she doesn't have full custody of Kenzie anymore. So she wouldn't want CPS to use her testimony on the stand to keep her from gaining custody of Kenzie, or from taking away visitation rights.
I can completley understand why she would like about that. It doesn't have to do with the murder directly. And if I had a daughter I was afraid of losing, I wouldn't say anything either that might make CPS mad.
IMO anything Cassy says is not credible. Where does she show in any part of this trial that her word is credible? Gouker was throwing anything and everything against the wall to see what would stick. Josh was only with his Bio dad for 6 weeks. He do you really think he built up that much antomosiity and hatred that he would kill his step brother? He had been in and out of foster homes for years, did he try to hurt or kill any of those other kids in those home cause he was an outsider, no. His foster sister who knew him for 3 years did not mention any of that to her, nor did she witness ever witness it.
aa9511, did Arias really say 'Now my philosophy is that it's never okay to kill someone'?
If so that is mind boggling.
Can anyone let me know have their been any jury questions at all; or does anyone have a jury watch clock or info? Seems HLN/CNN has decided not to even put one up; after "covering the trial on pause".....thanks...
Again IMO making her testimony not credible. If she would lie under oath to save her own interests, then she would lie under oath to get Gouker and anyone associated with him punished, truth or no truth, she will lie if it serves her interests.
Watch Beyond Scared Straight, many of those teens don't live with their biological parents, yet are following in their footsteps.
How would you excuse Joshua Young's own contradicting statements to LE????
I see we're on verdict watch. I do not know what to believe, still :fence: on this trial.
But during her testimony it was clear, at least to me, that she only fudged/lied when it had something to do with like custody or something like that. I do not believe that she lied about anything to do with the murder itself and Gouker's involvement in it.
I don't excuse it. I don't think it is enough to convict this boy of murder cause he was not accurate where he slept that night.
Is there anywhere, anywhere else that he contradicts himself, no. Amanda, Cassie, Gouker, Jahaira, Angelika, all were caught in numorous major inconsistent statements, but many on this board give them a pass. I just don't agree with the logic. People have differing opinions, that is fine. When a boys life is at stake for what you are say is enough to convict him on, is just not logical in my opinion.
Using that logic then Josh only lied about where he slept that night, not about anything to do with the murder, do you see the irony?

I don't see a conviction on this one. Not with the evidence presented. Beyond a reasonable doubt.

There's no where else where he contradicts himself b/c he makes the easiest solution to get out of the whole mess by saying I went and fell asleep...I was asleep during everything. .
